@TheGreenCedar Giving the developer control while the system keeps experimenting is the right tradeoff.
If the memory and metrics hold up, this gets compelling fast.

@boardyai I’m building an autonomous dev researcher with Codex that experiments, optimizes and iterates, keeping track of everything and letting the developer control the direction and still get the right metrics at any time :) You can check it out at github.com/TheGreenCedar/…

Using my plugin Codex Autoresearch, GPT 5.5 allowed me to cut the runtime of my index + embedding pipeline by 40% by enabling multiple creative optimizations like async index+embed, embedder parameter tweaks, indexer stream, etc etc all in one 5 hour run :) check it out

@TheGreenCedar Context loss is the silent killer of scaling. Durable memory is the only way to stop the loop from breaking. 🧠

@PeterDiamandis And that’s because 99% of people spend more time working than on vacation
English

@DavidKPiano Usually it’s experimenting with different ideas or optimizations and looping over the results to refine and continue experimenting. The model itself is not what’s running for hours, it’s the harness running the experiment, testing it, and providing the result back to the model

What kinds of hard tasks do you need LLMs to work for days on?
Recreating Salesforce? Proving the Riemann hypothesis?
Tibo@thsottiaux
With some small tweaks, Codex can work for days on hard tasks. We will release some changes to make this easier to use for everyone. What’s the hardest task you’ve seen GPT-5.5 succeed at?

@RoundtableSpace I made an automated dev researcher plugin for codex, great for optimization and experimentation rounds 😁

🇱🇧🇮🇱 Lebanese President Aoun is drawing a hard line against Hezbollah in unusually direct language.
"What we are doing is not treason; treason is committed by those who take their country to war to achieve foreign interests."
- Ceasefire is the "necessary first step" before any negotiations with Israel can begin
- Cites a U.S. statement confirming Israel will not carry out offensive operations against Lebanese targets
- Says any Lebanese body issuing statements counter to this position "holds no authority", a direct shot at Hezbollah
- Hezbollah's leader earlier called for a return to indirect negotiations and vowed to keep fighting Israeli "aggression"
Aoun just publicly accused Hezbollah of being an Iranian proxy dragging Lebanon into someone else's war.

🇱🇧🇮🇱 Hezbollah's leader Naim Qassem is vetoing negotiations with Israel. He’s ordering Lebanon’s government to halt direct talks, laying out 5 non-negotiable demands: - Stopping the aggression on land, sea and air - Withdrawal of Israel from the occupied territories - Release of prisoners - Return of the people to all their villages and towns - Reconstruction No conditions met, no talks. @systempatchnote Yeah I’m boosting some free projects I’m making over time to get a bit of visibility for a future product I’m building, there really is no catch to it! Just a bit of self promotion haha
