But I'm not your campaign manager. Perhaps s/he calculates this will gain you more D votes than it will gain her R votes.

@JamesHMackay @JesseJenkins The measure you’ve chosen—total energy supply—is a little deceptive. Renewables exceed 40% of German energy production, and they would have been far better off if they’d moved more aggressively to wean themselves off Russian natural gas and electrify their vehicle fleet.

I’ve been too busy to follow the #UkraineWar regularly & closely, but these US-supplied #HIMARS are HAMMERING Russian command & control, ammunition depots, and bridges in occupied #Ukraine. There are only 16 in country so far and they’re already transforming the conflict.

The decline is largely driven by “climate change-fueled wildfire and drought.” Our state and region have to shift to a stewardship attitude, not only fighting fires and reducing risks (& reducing GHG emissions), but quickly moving to restore forests in the wake of fire.

@mcotteri @LiamSBarrett Yes, the rain shadow is the consequence of the fog/precipitation, since the moisture precipitating out as it rises over the mountains leaves the air dry as it continues east. But it does similar up the coast. The mystery is why not throughout the peninsular & transverse ranges.🤔

I mean, technically what happens is that moist air comes off the ocean and condenses into fog or precipitates out as rain, snow, etc. but why it happens to such a degree in our foothills rather than up the coast, not sure. Maybe monsoonal moisture from the south.
