There are a handful of people who I agree with their argumentation on a few topics, but I don’t say anything because of the insufferable whining that occurs if I do. I support anyone doing what’s required to improve the culture and that ranges from a Mompreneur Magazine Editor to a Debate Bro. I care less about who is doing the work and critiquing them unnecessarily and more about, “Is it effective?” I’m very displeased with living in a culture in decline and I’m happy people are doing the work I can’t.

I have never been so offline in my life. It’s been good, but I’ve been so social my chores haven’t been getting done. I have a small problem. There’s a troupe of kids in my neighborhood who are all hanging out nearly everyday. My kids are involved. We are really outside so much. I am certain my risk of skin cancer has increased. But I know I will blink and fall and winter will be here. I might just have a slow-cooker-paper-plate summer to get by. I will say, it feels good to be needed by so many kids—even when they’re not mine.

Wife sees how much I like it and says "aww, it's cute and looks good on you. You should buy one." My heart is exploding. It's out of my price range, but I'm blinded by how much I love it. The guy is agreeing with her, I should totally buy one. I'm ignoring the fact that at most, my wife thought it was maybe 20k. We're in our room and I'm looking up RMs on the secondary market. I show her one and she says "I love that one, get it." I'm sweating. She's enabling my mania. I'm in some alternate universe because no way is she telling me to buy it. I'm showing her all the ones I like, picture after picture. Like a kid explaining his Christmas list to his parents. The details, everything. I show her this RM 011. I say I really want this one. She says "just buy it." Then she finally becomes inquisitive. She asks, "How much is?" I mumble and say "around 250" I know my chances are blown. She asks, "Why are you even talking about it? That's so cheap." I tell her it's about 250k. She looked at me like she just found out I had a 57 IQ. The look she gave me was indescribable. She looked at me like she found out I was a serial killer. She just responded with "Are you fucking insane? Are you an actual crazy person?" Anyway, I'm not getting the watch. It was fun to own, even in my head for an hour.

There is so much misinformation and downright lies about data centers that it’s impossible to not be convinced this is a foreign propaganda campaign, and it’s working. This article is a total crock. Most of the water went to things like pouring concrete during construction. This is also a tiny amount of water compared to things like golf courses.

@FreddyBenelli @bryanrbeal @robertgraham Most data centers use open evaporative cooling. I think I read that some of the new ones use closed loop liquid cleaning, which uses less water, but more electricity for cooling.

Could you sell 10 of these monthly and make an extra $5k? Wait, there's a better way. Don't sell the complete units. Sell kits with all the parts your buyers need to build their own, so they can be the hero. People pay for aggregation, and it will take less of your time. Search Amz and Ali for "steampunk light parts" to find cheap black pipe and electrical parts. Create a complete kit with instructions - include the bulbs, wire - all of it. I'll bet you can get the cost down below $200 and sell for $398. Will this work for you? Maybe. Will you learn a bunch of valuable skills by selling on Etsy, eBay, and even Amz? You bet your ass you will. There's a hidden switch inside your head. Once you convince your moist robot brain that you can make money like this, it never ends. Cheers to your success!

@FishkinSykes @gnomologia @PaleStreak @mattbramanti IF they are doing that (and that's a gigantic IF), they are required to go thousands of feet deep, well below the water table. And again, it wouldn't make sense because a wastewater facility is much smarter and more economical.

There is no geothermal system involved. Beyond small pilot plants, those aren't in common use around here, but waste injection wells definitely are.

It's not even hard to get, especially given that our regulatory commissions have been reconfigured to rubberstamp this garbage.
