It was the case from 2024 balances to 2025. I’d expect it’ll be the same for 2025 balances into 2026.
Howard Smith@TheHBomb

@Kevmath Thanks Kev - I was wondering about amounts left in this year’s Paris Tournament Accounts (from cash deposited and tournament payouts). Do we know if money left there will stay available for 2026 WSOP?

If you had a TBIC (Cash deposited in person) Balance from last year, you can have that added to your Paris Tournament Account when setting it up this year. If you had a Bravo TBIC account balance (cash deposited online through Payfiniti) you need to contact BravoPokerLive to receive your funds.

@Kevmath do you know if residual balances in Paris Tournament Accounts will roll over to next year ?

@KevmathVegas — I used a debit card to register for my first event. I see we have to re enter all info each time so I’m thinking of PayPal - would I need to verify again (if PayPal links to my same card if that matters)?

@KevmathVegas - thanks for all the update and info! Do you know … in the WSOP+ app can I search for a player to see what tourney they are playing now?

When you deposit your cash into a Paris Tournament Account, somewhere in that process you need to show your ID. When doing so, they should get you verified to purchase tickets using your Paris Tournament Account through the WSOP+ app

@Kevmath @Kevmath does making an initial Paris Tournament Account deposit also deal with verification? Thanks. I’m thinking it could be quicker to do this for my first event when I arrive and want to get playing ASAP.

If you’re depositing cash, you set up a Paris Tournament Account Formerly known as TBIC $2,500 minimum deposit. Done in the Player Services office, deposits are taken at the cage along the left hand side of the room. After walking into the Paris Convention Center, you take a left at the T-Mobile booth, you’ll see the WSOP Main Cage. Just past it is the Diamond and 7 Stars VIP registration. The room after that is Player Services (all rooms are along the left hand side)

I’d like to go to wsop and verify my account with wsop+ and put $ on my account for the summer. What do I need to do? How long will it take? @Kevmath $100 coming your way amigo. I’m “diamond plus” whatever that helps.

@Kevmath What I’m wondering is … after first in-person verification … for later events, is the ticket purchase a separate step before “registration”. I imagine this will become clear to me next week when I arrive and try out these new things for real.

If you want to play after the tournament starts, you should click register after the tournament starts.
mal@mal90010

@Kevmath Process seems to be (1) Purchase ticket (2) Get verified (3) Register for event/flight in app using ticket. (4) Name will show up in Players list. Chips not in play until you do step (3). Correct?

@Kevmath Thanks @Kevmath … of course anything is “subject to change” but is there any reason to think this is an interim state of affairs (“currently”) … or is @WSOP just being careful with that language? Very welcome /helpful change since prior years anyway !

Missing the match to play the ‘mystery’ PLO. But we have the big screen, and as luck would have it I’m sat with the only Dutchman in the room. I can only pray his team doesn’t give him a reason to start singing. 😬

@BravoPokerLive Can I make a WSOP tournament registration using the BravoTBIC balance that I have (which is not sufficient for the entire buyin) plus the rest from Credit Card?

@BravoPokerLive Should I be able to see WSOP pre registration in the App? I can see it on the website but no WSOP tournaments appear in the app for me despite the “PR” label on the venue.

@Kevmath Thanks. I’m keen on using a wire transfer this year. I’m trying to figure out if the Bravo TBIC account that I’d use for that is the same as my existing Bravo relationship (just a new facility).

Bravo TBIC is only for Wire/ACH transactions You can use your credit card like previous years but you’ll still need to verify yourself/credit card each year for the FIRST tournament you register for online. If you decide to use a different credit/debit card later in the WSOP, you’ll have to get that verified after registering for the first tournament you use that card.

It doesn’t help that the names are changed. If you had an account last year. that is now called a WSOP Tournament Account. This can only be done with an IN PERSON deposit of cash, cashier’s check or Paris/Horseshoe chips. If you want to send a wire or do an ACH transaction you need to set up a Bravo TBIC account And use the @PayFiniti digital wallet to fund. Then that money is transferred into the Bravo TBIC account to register for tournaments. Both charge a $3 fee for each tournament you register for
