Could say this about a lot of concerts. People just don’t go to concerts like they used to. Artists used to sell out stadiums of 50k+ ppl and now, unless you’re someone like Eminem, The Weeknd, or Taylor swift, the artist is lucky to sell out arenas of about 20k. Katy Perry and Beyoncé unfortunately felt this during their recent tours. That being said, Soulja Boy over predicted his level of “fame” and probably paid a good amount of money for the venue. He probably didn’t even make enough to cover his travel with a crowd this size. I feel like live music is a dying entertainment.
