The whole point of not going back and forth with you is that you can’t even differentiate between an Isaac Newton believing in a cultural tool created by his own civilization and you, Lekan, all the way from Nigeria, believing in this tool of subservience manufactured and tweaked before exporting to you. As in, the very fact there’s 99% chance you would have been a Muslim if the vagina you popped out from belonged to a Northern Nigerian woman, is enough not to engage you in any serious intellectual conversation proves my point. It’s just like quoting Elon Musk who now appears to be pivoting to Christianity from atheism. When in fact, he’s only doing that cos the new Trump regime, which he’s party to, has resorted to the old colonial tool of religion for the purpose of recolonizing you. You are quoting a period when Christianity began shaping politics. Maybe you need familiarize yourself with why that was necessary, why it had to happen before it was exported to you, and the role it played in making you the indoctrination tool that you are today (incapable of thinking for yourself).

You think believing in a transcendental being is a sign of intellectual deficiency. I told you already, you cosplay intellect because you don’t actually possess it. Here are five major scientists who believed in God: Isaac Newton Johannes Kepler Blaise Pascal Michael Faraday James Clerk Maxwell Newton wrote more theological treatises than scientific papers. But by your logic, these men lack intellect simply because they believed in God. You brought up Ethiopian Christianity. Their distinction is that they are more orthodox, maintaining strong continuity with 4th-century Christianity. That was the period when Christianity began to shape state power and political life. So what you’re indirectly praising is a form of Christianity that permeates governance, politics, and society as a whole. That’s a strange position for someone who claims “White Jesus” is imperialist. I can’t even engage you on cosmological or teleological arguments. It’s a sad state of affairs, waking up daily to convince yourself you have intellectual depth by parroting ideas that collapse under the lightest scrutiny. Sad.
Biggest Mack@Big_Mck

I have nothing to prove to you regarding intellectualism. For me, it’s not a performance like it is for most of you. Imagine going back and forth with someone who believes in a sky daddy. Someone who’s drunk on western propaganda called White Jesus. And before start yapping about how your religion began in Africa, you should visit Ethiopia and see if the their brand of Christianity looks anything like yours. You believe in an imaginary deity, and that disqualifies you from any intellectual conversation. You should get a life, have some self respect, and stop worshipping those who enslaved your ancestors. For the issue at hand, I will leave this below. x.com/big_mck/status…

I went to the hospital this evening to get my test results. The laboratory attendant passed this slip into my hand, and went in to get the result. Behind the slip is her Zenith Bank account details. But I'm just thinking if it's right to bill patients or their relative in the hospital? And would ignoring these request even when you have be considered a inconsiderate? I've seen begging before but this is new. Nigeria which way now?

I dislike this guy and his Government so much because they do WORSE than the people he's talking about. America will mine your minerls and pay for it. These dudes mine your minerals, DO NOT PAY FOR IT, then tell you they are not mining your minerals but trying to "liberate" you from those who mine it. A fool.

The most hurtful part was @mehdirhasan telling Bwala “you think this is funny…” as that shameless man laughed. He was talking about poverty, about deaths and about the dire state of 🇳🇬 but Bwala was laughing as if they were talking sports. An idea of how the Presidency is on a typical work day. They just laugh at us.

The idea that our forefathers lived longer because they didn't use vaccines is a huge LIE and a weak argument. You see one old man who is 90 and you think everyone was like him. But you forget the five other children in his compound who died before their fifth birthday because of measles, smallpox, or "juju" that was actually just an infection. Eg;ogbanje In 1990, out of every 1,000 children born in Nigeria, 193 of them died. Today, that number has dropped to about 52. It means less kids are dying now because of the wins of "science" That "olden days" you are praising was actually a time of great sorrow for many parents who buried their children in the backyard. The reason we are doing better today isn't because of "vibes" or WhatsApp broadcasts. It is because of vaccines and better medicine. Our ancestors didn't have a "secret" for long life; they were just lucky to survive a world where a simple cough could kill a baby. If you want to go back to that way of life because of some story you read on the internet. Fine. But it is like throwing your children into a fire because you heard it makes them stronger. Antivaxxers are dangerous people to all of us. Their stories are killing innocent kids.

1. Lecanapavir is from Gilead Sciences. 2. Gates is not connected directly or indirectly involved in its production. He doesn’t own it patents. 3. The subsidy is mainly from PEPFAR, and also Global Funds to Fight AIDS, TB and Malaria. PEPFAR is especially involved in the fight against AIDS: when I worked with PEPFAR in UNTH, we were giving HIV meds to people living with HIV for free once they are registered and it is proven that they are living with HIV as there are those who would sneak in, say they are living with HIV, receive the free meds and go and sell it. These free meds is sold for hundreds of thousands Naira in the Market, even that is still a little subsidized. And it has been saving lives for years. I met a man who has been on them for 25yrs, he was doing great. 3b. Gates gives philanthropic funding to institutions and organizations that fight HIV, this subsidy is now in the discretion of these organizations. He is not directly doing subsidization. He is not buying or selling. 4. What you’re dealing with is massive ignorance of greater than 10 magnitude.
𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬 𝐏𝐨𝐩𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐚@ThePChris

If not that Africans are daft. An injection costs $28,000 to $42,000+ per person annually They now said for Africans it has been subsidized to $43 😄😄😄 Are Africans so loved by Bill Gates? Are we of much economic importance to Bill Gates that he's ridiculously cut the price for Us?

@OurFavOnlineDoc Sometimes it's good to pay and rest. What if your income doesn't come monthly? That's how one will be homeless. I think I like the Nigerian system

Actually the UK approach is how it should be. Please indulge me and let me explain. The logic is simple. You get paid every month. So you should only pay rent monthly. Or let me ask this simple question: Does your employer pay you 1year salary ahead of time? IF your employer does not pay you 1year salary ahead, why should a landlord ask you to pay 1year rent ahead? If you think about this in this manner, you will see that it is only logical, rational and humane for a landlord to only collect rent on a monthly basis (since you also only get salary on a monthly basis). This is why sane countries like the UK only collect monthly rent. In countries like Nigeria, What we are practising is a terribly exploitative, unfair and unjust policy where landlords can demand 1-2years rent in full even though no employer pays you 2years salary ahead. Of course the excuse/reason the landlords also give for this is the lack of trust in the system, the lack of accountability if the tenant fails to pay and the desire to safeguard against defaulting tenants. In a country like Uk if you fail to pay your rent, it damages your credit score and you can be taken to court- this is absent in a country like Nigeria. But putting all of that aside, The fact remains that a system where you are made to pay 2years rent ahead is a dysfunctional, inhumane and unjust system. Living and growing up in a dysfunctional country like Nigeria has done collectively damage to us as a society that normalcy looks unimaginable.
Chisom Agbafor@ChisomAgbafor

So they say rent in the UK is paid monthly. Wait… you actually take it out of your salary every month? You pay rent, bills, food all from the same salary? No wonder some Nigerians sleep in their cars. How do you even cope?

A statesman reads the times. In one powerful gesture, Atiku Abubakar lifts Dr. Mo’s hand and perhaps signals something even bigger. Leadership is not always about being king; sometimes it is about choosing to be kingmaker. As young Nigerians rally behind Peter Obi, it is refreshing to witness Atiku embody the wisdom of an elder, stepping forward to raise the next generation, not overshadow it. By standing in support of Dr. Mo’s AMAC chairmanship bid, he reminds us that legacy is built not just by contesting power, but by empowering others. The era is shifting. The baton is being passed. And history will remember those who understood when to run and when to raise another’s hand.

i don't know who needs to hear this but in order to become a better person, you must first realize how horrible you really are. not in the dramatic sense, but in the quiet ways you sabotage yourself, repeat unhealthy patterns, hurt people who care about you, or tolerate what wounds you. you cannot grow if you keep pretending you’re innocent in the story you created

I had a cumulative score of 4/30 in the continuous assessment. I needed to score 46/70 to pass the exam with 50, which was the pass mark. The thing is, it was an Anatomy 1st MBBS exam. To score 46/70 in the exam was not only difficult, but no one passed the exam without scoring at least 10 or above in the continuous assessment. I was invited by one of the lecturers in the department. He informed me of my dilemma and the need to prepare for a resit exam. My friends kept consoling me, telling me to prepare for the resit exam and that I would have their support. Through all that, I never saw myself writing a resit exam. I was mostly surprised—shocked, even—at how all the people around me were scared on my behalf. I had never resat an exam up until that moment, so why would I start? The fact that it was difficult, or that no one had ever done it, did not mean I could not do it. It was never impossible, so I believed. So, I did the best I could. After the results came out, I received countless phone calls from people asking to know my score. When I informed them that I had scored 51, most didn’t believe me. It shocked me even more. Yes, I knew the exam was difficult. I knew it was a difficult feat to pass the exam with that low score in the continuous assessment. But I never for a second doubted my ability to pass. I just knew I would pass. I could feel it in my bones. And… I did pass.

Wike always handles his issues objectively and he doesn’t ever mix them with emotions. He understands the law better than most of the people dragging him to court, and he’s always ready to pay for sound legal advice and solid representation. That already puts him miles ahead of the curve. People also forget one simple fact: Wike is a lawyer who is also married to a top lawyer too. That alone changes how he approaches conflicts. He understands procedure, timing, and where and how cases are really won or lost. When people say you can’t beat him “somehow”, they’re just avoiding the uncomfortable truth. He’s not untouchable. Rather... he’s prepared. And preparation will always beat vibes every single time.
