America under Trump is like a burglar who has stopped denying the burglary and now wants credit for confidence. Yes, we took it. Yes, we bombed it. Yes, we starved them. Yes, we backed the butcher. What are you going to do about it? That is the tone now. Not remorse. Not even hypocrisy. Just gangster exhaustion. Just a tired empire deciding that courtesy is for equals and the rest of the world is not equal enough to deserve it. Trump did not invent this energy. He concentrated it. He distilled American power into its ugliest, most portable form.
