Ein grundlegender Kurswechsel ist das jedoch nicht: Mit 818.334 BTC kontrolliert das Unternehmen weiterhin knapp 3,9 % des weltweiten Angebots und bleibt der größte börsennotierte Hodler. Während das STRC-Vorzugsaktienprogramm zur zentralen Finanzierungssäule wird, zeigen interne Modelle, dass Dividenden langfristig schon bei einem moderaten BTC-Kursplus von 2,3 % pro Jahr gedeckt wären. Die möglichen Verkäufe sind also eher ein Signal an die Investoren als eine Abkehr vom langfristigen Aufbau der Reserven.
