Online celebrity "Leftists" misunderstand the motives of Normie Democrats. We're ideologically diverse & embrace the reality of a big tent. We're not anti-progressive or pro-moderate. We want to beat Republicans. We think the aforementioned "Leftists" sabotage this goal.

Mainstream American politicians of both parties want you to believe that there is something deeply wrong with you if you hate these people and don’t want to give them your paycheck.

This is the kind of protesting we need to be seeing more of.

Im finishing chapter 5, but unfortunately, I think for now, I have to delay it somewhat again. I never thought to be concerned about it, but as I was writing an "uncomfortable" scene, I realized I should run it by Royal Road to make sure I dont break TOS. I'll keep you updated

This is why we aren’t getting anything done because too much of these protests have become performative. Don’t just break the gates down tear the buildings down. There are MILLIONS of these people protesting who have the ability to physically bring down this regime but the most they’ll do is shout with signs. That’s great but it’s nowhere near enough. The opposition doesn’t take us seriously because why would they? All of these people will go back to work tomorrow to serve the corrupt government controlling us. We have to be willing to actually risk something y’all. Where are the nationwide strikes and rebellions? If the most you’re willing to do is write on cardboard that you disagree with what’s happening then nothing is going to change. Do people really think something like this ends peacefully? That peaceful protests are going to give us the results we want? No wonder we’re in this situation. DIRECT ACTION PEOPLE. Look at what history tells us. It’s there for a reason.

Before joining DSA I used to be the guy who would condemn and denounce everything and think I was more radical and revolutionary than everybody else. Eventually I realized that wasn’t organizing anybody except other radicals, some of whom always eventually decide that *they* were the most revolutionary and radical, and everybody else is a rightist and a revisionist and opportunist. Eventually, you end up all by yourself. I spent my 20s squabbling and fighting with other Maoists, and none of us managed to actually build a party. Some dropped out of politics altogether, some dropped off the face of the earth, some washed up in DSA. We were part of a scene, not a movement. I actually joined DSA while I was still in FTP, they decided to kick me out for “opportunism, rightism and liquidationism” even though I started the org and made myself enemy number one to the psychotic Red Guards Austin cult in the process. Afterwards, it collapsed. Join a real organization instead of silly shit.
