The strategy seems to be to avoid concentrating in any one place, instead sending small contingents to burn the houses and shops of unwelcome residents, while placing barricades around the city in order to to slow down the police. Emergency services get tied up putting out the fires and evacuating migrants, while the riot cops chase after ghosts.

Unlike previous, highly concentrated riots, very lightly manned burning barricades are distributed across the city at important traffic intersections, with no real clashes as such

Just home from dealing with the consequences of tonight's lawlessness. Perhaps some of the English right wing influencers and local politicians enthusing about these protests would explain to children I met why they have no beds to sleep in tonight. Utterly disgusted.

A Changan Kaicene F70 starts at $13,500 and goes up to $19,500. (In China) Base has ABS and AC. Top trim has everything including ESC, LDW, LCD you name it. 211-230hp (diesel or gas).
Only ~$600 of that is labor.
Labor cost for a Maverick (made in Mexico) is ~$1000.
Labor cost for a Hyundai Santa Cruz is ~$1500.
Lets double the labor cost of the Hyundai because we want American workers to make a lot of money. $3000.
$2400 addl labor cost over China and the Kaicene is $15,900-$21,900.
Oh, and the Kaicene is a larger body on frame (vs unibody) and has literally double the towing capacity. Weighs 500-700lbs more. (More manufacturing cost)
China is not cheap because of cheap labor.
America is not expensive because of air conditioning.
America is expensive because the people who run it are criminals, morons, and thieves.

Her name is Luana Zaratti, an Italian bus ticket inspector. She was 26 when, during one of her shifts, she asked an illegal Egyptian immigrant for his ticket. He had none. His answer was a violent headbutt straight to her face, so hard it shattered her nasal septum and caused severe head trauma. Luana collapsed to the ground, blood pouring from her nose. That single blow destroyed her life. It left her with permanent brain damage and lifelong disability. Years bedridden, almost vegetative. But her willpower pulled her back to a shadow of the life she once had. The attacker was sentenced to just 14 months in prison, but he never served a single day. He disappeared. Luana, declared unfit to work, now survives on less than €1,000 a month.

UPDATE: Dalton still has not received a physical Bible.
he spoke with the chaplain yesterday, who shared that the jail currently has over 400 Bibles in lockup that admin refuses to allow him to distribute.
Dalton has formally offered to pay for a Bible for every person in the Montgomery County Jail to alleviate any allegations of favoritism. still he is being denied his right to practice his religion.

I'm old enough to remember when Austin Metcalf's dad showed up at the Anthony Families Press Conference and they called the police on him and told him if he didn't leave, he would be charged with Trespassing He explicitly extended the olive branch to the family,(far more than he should have IMO), and they refused to accept it
