More than 5 months later and still no resolution from the auto accident. I conceded some ACV to close, with the correct loss of use. And now they’ve ghosted me…. So now there’s 13 more days loss of use..

@WatchJRGo1198 @TheJaredPink have a successful full system test. Only 1/4 tank when I bought it so I used a drive out to fill up as an excuse to run to battery depletion and ICE cutover which happened seamlessly without issue. Now maybe I trust it to use like a regular car.

@WatchJRGo1198 @TheJaredPink after replacing the 12V battery yesterday I've been trying and trying to clear the pesky P0AFA code with my Foxwell NT530 scanner. Had to go buy a new level 1 charger since the one that came with the car wouldn't plug into a 110 socket. Car refused to charge last night. Tried again at clearing the code this morning. Then I was only attempting to exit service mode and when I hit the power button the IC engine sprung to life. It immediately wanted to do a maintenance run so I let it and while that was going on I pulled to outside the garage. As I went inside to open the door the engine shut down so I figured it was dead again. But I put it into drive and it pulled into the garage on battery despite how dead it was. Once inside I decided to try charging again and now it's taking charge. So not certain we're "fixed" but this feels like such a win.

@ScottJ175 I advise the one that fits the exact, and be prepared you still might need a new cap. They can get hateful and really become a nightmare to come off.

@TheJaredPink I feel you on the cracked dash thing. Even though I'm only 5 months in I've just accepted it's part of GMT900 life. I put some of this black epoxy on mine. Doesn't look great but stopped the rattle. I'm hoping LMC will offer a replacement eventually. 3rd Gen Rams are worse so when I did the engine and rebuilt the HVAC box on my 2003 back in 2018 I spent the $400 for a complete replacement dash from LMC.

@ScottJ175 Those look like Anticrush sleeves like it had a bumper or some type of accessory that had a bolt through the frame and those were there to keep the frame from collapsing

@TheJaredPink not sure how well you know GMT900 3/4 tons but I've been having this annoying clank for awhile. I thought it was suspension or steering. I set out today to find it and discovered these. One in each frame rail behind the tow hook. Free to roll side to side and clank. Are they something left loose from someone's prior work or did a prior owner have friends with a really annoying sense of humor?

You’ll never guess what shipping carrier is doing great stuff. They kept a package for a week in Flint just because, and then for 3 days they put it on the truck, drive it all around ‘out for delivery’ and then they take it back to the warehouse..

@TheJaredPink I've had 4 uneventful deliveries in a row from them, including then following an instruction to put a heavy package in my garage (I recently had surgery and couldn't lift it) I almost feel like i should play lotto lol
