@John7News @7NewsDC Maryland drivers yes, absolutely. But Virginia drivers are some of the most competent and curious in the nation. Why you would want to charge them I am unsure when they bring business to the district.
English

Should D.C. charge Maryland and Virginia drivers to enter the city? Congress is now trying to stop it before it ever starts. A new bill would permanently ban D.C. congestion pricing — fueling a growing fight over traffic, commuters, and D.C. home rule.

@zerohedge I mean this is inherently sound advice. We live in an age where you can start a business for almost $0.
English

@makipilled I’m sorry you haven’t had any luck applying for jobs. Have you thought about free lancing or starting a business?
English

@StealthQE4 They signal “competency”. Not saying that everyone or even most who have them are though. Some clients won’t work with you if you don’t have one.
English

Why bother getting a masters degree now?
They are essentially useless and a waste of money.
I never thought they did much for you before this trend started tbh

JUST IN: Business schools are slashing MBA tuition by as much as 50% due to falling demand.
English

@Polymarket This is one of the best times ever if you can get into a T 10 business school. The fall in demand won’t last long.

@Legal_Fil I live in a county with the highest concentration of data centers in the world. My electric & water bills have gone up almost $300 monthly as a consequence. Tax bill has decreased, but not enough to meaningfully offset. How can anyone expect people making less to get onboard?
English

It’s a full-blown mania.
The only quasi-plausible argument that I’ve heard against them is that data centers might drive up the cost of electricity in an area.
But that is true of any major development, and doesn’t consider the way taxes offset the increased cost.
The Washington Post@washingtonpost
A Gallup poll found that seven out of 10 Americans said they would oppose a data center being built near them. Opposition is so intense, the poll found, that more Americans would rather live near a nuclear power plant than a data center. wapo.st/48ZtSpE

@nikitabier I met the woman of my dreams who lived 4000 miles away from me at the time. We are now married. All thanks to X

@rrobba17 @RichardHanania Cool. How much have your electric and water bills gone up as a consequence? Hopefully not as much as mine.
English

@TheJasonCoreas @RichardHanania I live around data centers and hold this view..
English

Losers. You will be defeated. Too much money and AI is too useful. But you should rethink why you hate human progress so much and are so easily taken in by misinformation.

Kevin O'Leary's massive data center was approved by a county commission in Utah last night. At 40,000 acres, it would be 2.5x the size of Manhattan. The commission approved the proposal despite opposition from hundreds of locals.

@TheJasonCoreas @StealthQE4 Anyone who studies economics understands what's about to happen here. Be in four, eight or 10 weeks is irrelevant. Supplies of life sustaining goods in on its last legs. From energy to food to medical equipment, we need these to survive. A huge global economic crash is coming.

Claude is literally a money-making machine.
I’m shocked more people aren’t making $10,000/month with it.
Usually, I'd charge $199 for this, but today I'm giving it away 100% FREE

@Jeremybtc My father has been doing that for close to 40 years. Been stuck at $55K for a decade and he’s a manager. I told him he should look at other employers or start a business and give himself a raise, but he believes in “loyalty” to the company. Sad and bewildering.

@noisyb0y1 Why just teenagers? Are 30, 40, 50 plus year olds unable to learn how to do the same?
English

From $0 to $1,000,000 in a year - billionaire Dan Martell says right now is more realistic than any point in history and the teenagers who understand this are already building wealth while their peers sit on the sidelines.
No money needed. No experience needed. Just start - AI teaches you while you earn.
19-year-olds are selling AI agents at $10,000-15,000 a call and closing $50,000 a month.
16-year-olds are launching marketing agencies and replacing teams of four with one Claude.
14-year-olds are building FiveM scripts in 90 minutes and hitting €5,000 a month within 90 days.
Someone already packaged 139 marketing tactics, 12 SEO playbooks and a full CRO framework into one free repo for AI agents - what a senior marketer at $15,000 a month does in a week an agent does in a day for $0.
The people who jumped in a year ago are already on the other side. The ones who jump today still make it.
The ones waiting for confirmation will get floored by the ones who didn't wait.

@IfindRetards Consulting. I should know. I’m a consultant myself.

@BoringBiz_ What if I aspire to one day own a Dodge Viper, own an estate in Virginia wine country and send my children to the best private school in the US? I’m not going to get any of that working for Acme Co.
