@wordpressdotcom Thank you, but I’ll have to wait for a better one. I have 50%-off ones in my old e-mails so will have to wait until they come around again. Pity, though, as I’d sign up today.
Am I the only one who thinks of Bohemian Rhapsody every time I see BBC weather man Nick Miller? “Nick Miller, no! We will not let you go…”
@WeatherNick#Queen
@premierinn Help! Can’t use my booking tomorrow (Mon) but only date I want to rebook for isn’t available. Does that mean I lose my money, or could I have a credit to use towards another booking this year, please?
@TheJonMcKnight Hi Jon because the systems do not exist to fulfill this for you , if the item shows as unavailable it means we have exhausted every possible option and there is zero chance to get this to you -Lewis
@ArgosHelpers So frustrating! You have a complete Friends box-set at £25 in Clearance but, at the Basket stage, it’s not available in any store near me, not is it available for delivery to my postcode. Why? And if it’s actually out of stock, why not say so on the item listing?
@ArgosHelpers But you’re a national company, Argos, you have computers, and you have the items. Why can’t you join the dots and deliver it to me or even transfer it inter-store? If you care, that is?
@TheJonMcKnight We do have various warehouses and if the warehouse closet to you has no stock of the item, this will not show as available for home delivery. I am sorry for any inconvenience. Thank you - Rebecca
@TheJonMcKnight Hi Jon
I'm sorry that the item is not available locally to yourself. As we still have stock available in stores, we'll still list the item.

Is Jack And The Beanstalk still going ahead next week despite the predicted staggering increase in Omicron cases and the likelihood that being in a confined space with so many strangers will make it a super-spreader event, @marlowetheatre?
#bbcyourquestions: I’ll have waited six months for my booster by 3 December but now - despite being told how urgent it is - I’ll have to wait even longer while higher priority people have it first. I’m 61. So much for cutting the interval to three months. @NickTriggle
Is it me, @Halfords_uk, or is it impossible to adjust the quantity of an item in your online shopping basket without going back, finding the item again, and adding it? If it is just me, would the rest of the world please ignore?
@NickTriggle: I’d like my booster jab (originally due on 3 December) now after the Health Secretary cut the interval to three months. But local walk-in centre’s waiting for go-ahead from NHS. When’s that likely to be?
Excellent insights, @JamesTGallagher, bbc.co.uk/news/health-59… but even if scientists do modify vaccines, wouldn’t it then take 18 months for each of us to receive all three new jabs? Or would one new booster do it? Nobody seems to have asked.
