Imagine coming home from working part time at McDonald's... Your life is a mess.... You don't have a wife, kids, house.... You live with your parents... And the first thing you do is turn on a stream conducted by a group of people who are in a similar situation or worse off than you. If you are gonna watch someone... go to the person who will teach you things that will better your life or get you paid (I got MANY people paid in this space)... not low IQ people who want nothing more than you to get THEM paid and are E-begging for gifted subs. The Quartering is a prime example of someone you SHOULDN'T follow. While I think that email is false advertising, and most streamers will never make a living streaming. I was quietly proving that point.
Honestly, I've had a great experience. Kick literally buys me lunch during my streams... what other platform is doing that? 😄
Never once have I called streaming anything more than a fun hobby. I do not think my post proves this guy is "99.9%" right.

I TOLD YOU SO.... God it is getting tiresome being 99.9% right... Look... I am good with Kick. I like their current staff and it is a platform that is striving to do better.... but.... I said this from the jump... Kick's KPP "life changing money" wasn't going to be sustainable! Y'all hated on me for this and said I was jealous!.... now look at you!.... everyone is now collapsing on the platform for having a correction period. NONE OF YOU deserved even half of what they paid you btw.... It was unrealistic and a stupid unrealistic culture that ANDREW CREATED. This is why I said he wasn't fit for the job! He was and will always be a liability to Kick. Now I am going to defend Kick against all of YOU... Your KPP is a privilege not a right. I said this from the jump, build your fkin brand, and get partnerships. That is where the longterm REAL money is. To the staff of Kick AND @StakeEddie / @BijanTehrani many of the "partners" betrayed you after you fed them well.... I told you both.... you had a problem of a culture of unrealistic expectations from these "phase partners" all the way to people you gave actual contracts to. I know you both pretty well and I see what your intentions are infront and behind the screen.... I am a journalist in this space.... I urge you both to see through this bs smoke and make adjustments. Andrew is and always will be your biggest issue... even if he doesn't work for Kick anymore... you still have the culture he built influencing your creators. Destroy it and start from scratch. That being said, get back to your OGs that built Kick from the beginning with you... the ones who initially built Kick and gave it a name through the attacks from Twitch streamers. The yuppys, the Bangleafs, the becks, the zovos, the sponges, the Jokers... you know that kind of culture. Anywho, just my 2 cents.
