This latest memo from the Chief Electoral Officer of West Bengal to all the District Election Officers (DMs) exposes a scandalous betrayal of democracy:- # Sample checks reveal that Form 6 disposals showed non-compliance with the Electors' Act, 1960, including acceptance of applications without proper verification, leading to fictitious voter entries. # BLOs (Booth Level Officers) collected documents under urgency, and EROs (Electoral Registration Officers who are WB Govt Employees) admitted to providing unauthorized access to AEROs/OC Election in BDO Offices/Casual Data Entry Operators, who disposed of Form 6 applications. # OC Election posted in BDO Offices and Casual/Daily Wages Contractual Data Entry Operators have been involved in Form 6, 7, 8, or other disposal functions. Fictitious Voters added to the rolls and unauthorized meddling by Casual Data Entry Operators IS THE DEPTH OF CORRUPTION UNDER MAMATA BANERJEE'S RULE. Booth Level Officers pressured to fudge records, Electoral Registration Officers handing over Voter Lists related jobs to unqualified hands IS AN ASSAULT ON EVERY CITIZEN'S RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A FAIR ELECTION.
