Today is my final day as a pharmacist. 45 years of work in healthcare and proud of the contributions I have made to patient care, better use of medicines and integrated working. Thank you to all the colleagues and patients who I have worked with along the way. Happy New Year all.

Improving quality of later life sometimes means less medical intervention not more. This should be the patient's informed decision.
