Leaving England today (to visit family before our next jobs 🇰🇾) and specifically I am leaving @NHSNW today after 7 years with some fab colleagues - most people will never know who they are and what they achieved but I do and they are amazing. Thank you ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜 @HelenKirkOH

Today, the UEC SE Team is hosting a Winter Preparedness: Reducing Risk & Sharing Good Practice and we’ve had a fabulous turnout with over 200 people registered!

With NHS planning round well underway, am sure am not the only person in the country trying to model the almost unmodellable - when will we be in a position to reduce waiting times and prevent any patient waiting over a year for (RTT - which in itself is a hefty caveat!) care?

@NHSEngland So saddened to hear about Cliff, my over riding memory, beyond his technical skills in emergency medicine , was his sense of humour. He could whip out a funny anecdote as quickly as a solution to a problem in Same Day Emergency Care. He will be sorely missed by many including me.

So my lovely dad was one of the 213 COVID-19 deaths reported yesterday. Thankfully he succumbed quickly. Trying to focus on happier times & a life well lived

@GayleCarrington @NHSsoutheast We love seeing Bea’s fairy wings edging into the screen. Today I also saw Frances’s new puppy, Matts Dog and recently Claudia’s Christmas tree! We live 360 degree lives and video meetings makes that easier, and nicer to see.

Since working remotely, Bea has gatecrashed many MS Teams calls. Colleagues have been so tolerant of small people and the juggle. None more so than the @nhssoutheast ICC incident director who said at the end of our call: "give my best to Bea". That's warmed my heart today 💙💙💙

Just passing Wellington House (on my way home not a weird NHS weekend sightseeing tour) and plenty of lights on in what I think are still the PHE offices. If it wasn't for the infamously highly secure reception would pop in with treats for these amazing teams 🙌🙏
