South Devon Primary chose @CarolineVoaden, with an emphatic 78% of votes cast, as the People's Champion to unite behind to defeat the Conservative MP. Here's why people voted for her👇 Personally, I'm very pleased that Caroline supports the #CEBill zerohour.uk.

@zackferguson I can’t fathom why Nhs staff pay for their education. Society benefits from their qualifications so society should pay for them to get them. Then pay them properly! I want the person saving my life, caring for my family members, helping maintain the hospital to be paid fairly!

I’m a medical registrar. I’ve been a qualified doctor for 10 years, in training for 16. Out of hours, I’m the most senior physician on site caring for acutely unwell patients. I recently returned from paternity to work 60% as it’s the only way we could make childcare work. (1/4)

@AdamLenson God this is shocking. I lived in that area 20 years ago. I can’t imagine experiencing that. I’m sorry. Love & power

It's been a long time since I last experienced such cruel, overt antisemitism. And it happened in North London. And wow am I sad.

A little Sunday afternoon story. Two weeks ago I had quite major surgery. Today I got on a bus for the first time since then. With my blue badge. It was very full and I found myself standing initially near the priority seats holding on firmly to the hand rails.

Today South Devon @Right_2Roam group returned to the Duke of Somerset's Berry Pomeroy estate, scene of a previous mass trespass. The pheasant shoot was in much evidence, with many carcasses (boosting carrion) & plastic shooting litter everywhere. Custodians of the countryside!

@BenJamalpsc @nickdearden75 I was at an event in Devon where we had a live zoom link up with some Palestinians in Gaza & the West Bank. They spoke of their relief to see marches in Europe. They feel less alone in this horror knowing people (even if not politicians or those in power) are for a ceasefire 💚

Some thoughts on the march yesterday: 1) Even by police estimates this was one of the largest 3 marches in British history. We believe there were at least 800k there and we know many coaches got stuck in traffic and didn't reach the start.

For anyone thinking, “Summer this year in Britain hasn’t been hot and sunny enough; think I’ll fly abroad next time”, do remember to ask yourself, WHERE?: Rhodes? Hawaii? Greece? Spain? Majorca? Florida? California? Everyone and everywhere is now on the climate frontline.. Pse RT
