@iamAmitBhat Since you aren't using an async runtime, are you relying on blocking file writes with manual fsync / fdatasync calls, and if so, how do you prevent a slow disk write from completely blocking the Raft leader's heartbeat and execution loop?

@dealztrendz @volklub Never get a car without 360 camera if ur in cities, as it eases driving to a greater extent, personally experienced it, once u are addicted to it, there’s no going back🙂

@volklub Yeah true, but for now running isn’t that much so hybrid/EV feels overkill. Better to stick with a simple petrol automatic for first car.

Planning to buy a first car, a bit confused with options.
Looking at petrol automatic SUVs Creta, Seltos, Elevate, Hyryder. All seem good, so hard to decide what makes most sense.
Priority is ease of driving, comfort, smooth automatic, and practical daily use. Not focused on performance.
Also leaning petrol does it make sense to avoid diesel if running is low/uncertain?
Would love owner feedback what worked, what didn’t, which variant is worth it, and any better options?

I purchased Nexon from kht motors, Brookefield, Bengaluru in March 25.Repeatedly I am getting problems with the car and I am going to service centre.On purchase of new Nexon on 20.3.25, we have had reverse gear not working and visited kht service on 4.4.25, 27.4.25 and on 2.2.26

Wait where does he live that HAL Sports Club is 40 km away? Or is that a two-way distance? I heard he lives in Jayanagar but lived pretty much 3 km away from HAL in Indiranagar back in childhood? I've seen the 'Dravid' nameplate on the house next to old Plan B before.

Days after retiring from professional cricket, Rahul Dravid turned up for his childhood club, Bangalore United Cricket Club (BUCC). Dravid had started playing for BUCC at the age of 13 and, over the years, often spoke about the club’s role in shaping his career. In 2013, BUCC found itself on the brink of relegation, with the bottom teams set to drop to a lower division. The club needed three crucial points to survive, and Dravid decided to step in and help. Driving nearly 40 kilometres from his home, he arrived at the HAL Sports Club ground. There was no security, not even basic facilities like proper toilets, and, more poignantly, only 15 to 20 spectators in attendance. Without a single complaint, Dravid fielded for 81 overs on the first day. On the second day, he did what he had done all his life, batting with determination and responsibility. Dravid scored 113 runs, helping BUCC secure the vital three points and avoid relegation. Happy birthday, Rahul Dravid ❤️
