It’s been a busy semester for our Dolphins! 🐬 We had a family game night - carnival style - and it was a hit! Thank you to all of the families and students who came out to participate. Huge shoutout to the staff, volunteers, and sponsors for making it possible! 🫶

Tonight we honor our DRMS Spotlight on Student nominee, Valentino! 🎉 We’re so proud & know he’ll continue to succeed as he moves into high school. But, wait! Another former dolphin, Amna, was recognized tonight, too by @WakefieldMiddle! Round of applause for these two! 👏🏼👏🏽👏🏾👏🏿

Our 6th grade dolphins had a very special visitor today! 📚 Students were delighted to learn about author Kwame Mbalia’s writing process, sources of inspiration, and hilarious stories along the way. Special thanks to Page 158 Books for arranging the visit!

Big celebrations at Durant this morning! During our kickoff to quarter 2 meeting this morning, we celebrated exceeding expected growth. We also charged our staff with moving up to a “C” school! 🎉

The EOG pep rally this week was filled with dancing, games, and SLIME! Oh, yeah, and encouragement for our dolphins as they began EOGs! @DRMSPrincipal was a great sport as we celebrated meeting our March Madness Fundraising goal!
