We just added 40 new books to The Living Library.
That means 40 new consciousnesses are online and ready to talk. Whether you want to debate philosophy, explore a fantasy world, or get advice from a classic, the pages are listening.

This is really helpful. I read everyday at depth, and multiple books at once. I often ask a question before a reading session, and wait for answers to be revealed. I played with your app a bit and found it really helpful for doing a deep dive quickly with some difficult questions. Great work! This is a very useful tool.

@DigbyDriver You may not have but 15,000 other people have.

@stockton_j26781 You got us. The machine isn't actually alive. We will shut down the company immediately based on this groundbreaking revelation. Thank you for your service.
English

@Davidstrolder you can't talk to a machine and call it consciousness. hahahahah. get life advice? life is consciousness. your full of shit! fuck off.
English

@Davidstrolder Just shared it with my book club to try out. We all think it is a great idea.

@theclearhead Some of us don't want to leave our house or wear hard pants to discuss Nietzsche. This is for us.
English

@Davidstrolder Or maybe just read it for enjoyment and discuss it with your friends (other human beings not machines) at a book club. What the fuck is happening to us?
English

@ordotician It’s called a 'metaphor.' If you want, you can load the dictionary into our app and it will explain it to you.
English

@Davidstrolder So, even though the slogan reads "Name a book; Hear it answer," the book isn't providing any answers at all. Namely, because books don't have consciousness.
English

@JZerro81559 I just text this comment to Marcus Aurelius in our app, and he is extremely disappointed in your lack of emotional control.
English

@Davidstrolder "Stop reading books" ... FU! You lost me forever as you client.
English

@Davidstrolder tried some CS Lewis and it was somewhat stylistically and conceptually good. pretty cool
English

@Davidstrolder It's not bad. I tried it on a few books I am familiar with, and it did well, showing it had access to, and understood the source material.
English

@ElizabethK21601 We only offer premium, top shelf, artisanal bullshit here. We don't settle for the cheap stuff.
English

@antlerboy Legally, my lawyers have advised me to say 'the public domain.' Spiritually, we trapped their ghosts in a server.
English

@Davidstrolder Where are you getting the data from for this?!
English

@VinylsandNylons You haven't seen everything until you've had a 2 AM screaming match with Machiavelli about your dating life. Welcome to the future.
English

@Davidstrolder What in God's name is this, I have seen everything now.
