Now I've heard of two cases of euthanasia where a girl was put in a mental institution and then got raped by the other patients. - Dutch Milou Verhoof (17), euthanized in 2023, raped at age 13 & at 16. Her parents put her in the mental hospital & later called the euthanasia doctor. - Spanish Noelia Castillo Ramos (25), to be euthanized today, gang raped at age 22. Isn't it obvious what this is all about? Girls traumatized by societal neglect, lack of care, and diverse rapists. Their societies are to blame. And perhaps neglectful parents.

@JacobF451981 @EPPGroup Yes - our current type of democracy clearly gives bad actors way too many opportunities to try and get all these authoritarian laws in effect. "The good have to win all the time, while the bad people only need to win once" isn't really working.

@EPPGroup There needs to be a procedure: If a motion has been voted 'no' for multiple times, it needs to be voted 'yes' for just as many times plus once more to take effect. So if we vote 'no' 3 times, the vote must be votes 'yes' 4 times to take effect. And 3 months pause between votes.

Let's correct some misperceptions. This vote WAS NOT about the so-called “chat-controls”. It was about a straightforward extension of the current rules without changing their scope. It preserved the existing derogation and all safeguards, including the protection of end-to-end encryption and the prohibition of general monitoring. This is exactly what the Parliament has done in the past.

@EPPGroup Giving Big Data and law enforcement blanket access to everyone's data is not the answer to any kind of crime prevention. We might as well put every innocent person in jail as a preventive action, starting with the politicians (no immunity to you, like in Chat Control).
