@peterepstein2 @TSXSVRS Excellent results and amazing possibilities for Silver Storm Mining. With the plant rehabilitation being roughly 50% complete, and the company is preparing for an operational restart. Offtake is fully secured via a prepayment facility with Samsung CNT. Things looking very good.

@JAM_SAMMICH Compelling no doubt… some flaws I felt though: why not more about parents? His thoughts or sisters thoughts on it. Its partly imo why he was so driven iconoclastically… he reminded me mentally a lot like a Kurt cobain or Jim Morrison… saddest part he was finding solace at end.

I've just finished watching the final episode about Dean Potter, and I am without words. It is one of the most profound and moving documentaries I've seen in many years. Potter lived beyond the line that society draws for ordinary men. He searched for beauty in exposure, in solitude, in the absolute edge between freedom and death. That search gave his life a rare intensity. Of course, he pushed too far. In the mountains - and in the sky - there is always a moment when passion can overpower judgment. Mountains do not forgive this. But still, it was his own path, chosen fully and consciously, and along that path he created moments of astonishing beauty.
Edmund@Kulambq

I've just finished watching the first part of the new documentary on Dean Potter, 'The Dark Wizard,' and I'm overwhelmed. It's easy to dismiss him as someone with a death wish, but that oversimplifies everything. He was, ultimately, in love with life, driven by a consuming need to be in the presence of life's true inscape. It's what all the great climbers have been under the spell of - from Dean Potter to Ueli Steck to Jerzy Kukuczka.

Copper officially closed at record weekly prices today. This increasingly looks like the beginning of a true price-discovery phase for the metal. It reminds me of gold once it finally cleared the $2,000/oz level and the market began adjusting to a completely different pricing regime. Copper remains one of the most compelling supply-demand disconnects anywhere in markets today. open.substack.com/pub/tavicosta/…

Silver Alert It is 15 minutes before the close on a Friday. This is a simple weekly log chart of the silver price, which just broke a weekly downtrend line. Will ask the same question I asked yesterday. For all these technicians that have said silver is going lower due to the previous failed attempts to breakout, DO YOU BUY HERE? Not looking to wait another $15 or $20 higher and then having someone give the green light with a $200 to $500 price target, Do you buy on this strong weekly close?
bob coleman tweet media
bob coleman@profitsplusid

Many individuals ask me to watch videos by chart technicians that have big followings. They have been negative on silver looking for lower prices, yet on rallies they put out long term charts that give massive price targets higher. This is a simple weekly log chart of the silver price, which just broke a trend line. For all these technicians that have said silver is going lower due to the previous failed attempts to breakout, DO YOU BUY HERE? It is very easy to play arm chair quarterback and rely on long term charts as a way to attract subscribers, but if the subscription service does not give the all clear forecast to buy in the short term, then how are is one supposed to take advantage of the upturn?

Robert Friedland: If you think we have enough copper you’re dreaming - In human history, we have mined ~700 Mt of copper - In the next 18 yrs, we need to mine the same amount as in the last 10k yrs - And that’s without factoring in renewables, data centers or wars We have all these fancy ideas: renewables, data centers, and EVs… just electrify everything and assume copper will be available. The reality? We haven’t invested in copper for >10 years, meanwhile it is getting harder and harder to find and mine copper. - Since 1900, energy required to produce copper is up 16x - Water consumption is up 2x - Mines are deeper and smaller - Grades are declining We now need more resources to produce the same amount of copper. - 6 Tier-1 copper mines must come online every year for the next 24 yrs - The last major copper mine came online in 2021 - Major copper discoveries are down ~80% over the past 2 decades That’s a long way of saying copper prices must rise to incentivize new production.

You have to be at least 60 years old to really understand what is happening today. Why? Because you had to experience the 1960s and early 1970s. Words don't work. You had to experience it. The Creator created this incredible music. It was a whoosh, and then it died. What was the point? Why did it happen? This surge of creativity? It was an omen of something coming. Why did it die? Why? Why? It was also an omen of change that was coming, and change that would not be easy. The human spirit was revealed in the 1960s and early 1970s, but we were going to have to struggle to keep it alive. We were shown the potential, and then it was pulled away. Why? We are about to find out. I know why. Do you?

Buying Copper stocks in 2026 could be like buying Bitcoin in late 2022. > 42 million metric tons needed by 2040. > That's 50% increase in demand. > AI data centers 3x their copper consumption. > EV requiring 4x more copper per vehicle. > Grid expansion eating up 15.7m metric tons. $WRN, $NAK, $COPX, $FCX & $SCCO.

Copper supply can't keep up with data centers growths - Traditional data centers use ~150–500 tonnes. - Hyperscalers: ~3k–16k tonnes. - Megascalers: ~30k–330k tonnes Supply doesn’t scale the same way. - Mines take decades to permit and build. - Grades keep declining. - New projects remain scarce. Data centers aren’t getting slightly bigger, they’re leaping in size. Once you move from traditional builds to hyperscale and mega-scale, copper demand explodes per site. When that kind of growth hits a market already short of new supply, prices have to adjust to that new reality.

The Dark Horse of Uranium, Bannerman Energy $BMN.AX proves its potential once and for all through a phenomenal JV with the Chinese (CNNC): - Official stamp of approval from CNNC speaks volumes about the quality of the project and the company - Debt-free construction of Etango secured without the need to sign any more fixed price contracts to make banks happy (and shareholders unhappy) - Flexible offtake at market terms for 60% of the production - Support in construction & operations as well as the protection offered by the Chinese equals none, especially in the African, low-grade open-pit environment - Super strong contract negotiation position for the remaining 40% of Etango production - especially valuable for a high-torque, large-scale project on the eve of a massive shift in the uranium market (see the supply gap from ~2030 onwards) - A great deal for the Chinese too and a sign that they - contrary to the Western utility buyers who as still asleep at the wheel - understand where this market is headed 🎯10/10
