@Poloniex Current status: emotionally liquidated, portfolio still breathing. Market said “one more candle” and chose violence. Fine. Logging off before I become the exit liquidity. 🫠

Every cycle i hear "crypto is dead" and every cycle the teams that ignored the noise and kept building ended up spawning the best products. We're building the future of onchain payments at @0xPolygon right now and barely anyone is talking about it because sentiment is so low. We've been here before.

@bemmitt25 @AniruddhC1108 Seeding is NOT locked up. If UCONN or Houston win, they get the #1. We (Gators) didn't do ourselves any favors today. Vandy whooped us regardless of how terrible the refs were.

@crazyclips_ That was not close. Do you know the speed difference between the two vessels? It would've taken the tanker 5 minutes to reach the point he crossed his path.

@Swan_Creek1 @Loricatty @TaraBull Your posts are well stated. While my opinion is opposite of yours, I love duck hunting, I can understand your side. Most importantly though, you made your opinion without judging others...kudos. This is how discourse should be done.

One has nothing to do with the other. I don't like the thought of killing WILD animals or any animal or fowl. But I also know we have to eat and that involves killing animals--and I don't like that either--and yes I'm well aware of how those animals are kept and it's sickening. I actually lean more vegan because of that. My son and hubby go fishing--and quite honestly I don't even like the way the fish die. It is MY personal feeling and I cannot help how I feel. I also have no idea why you are writing to me as though I'm some kind of hypocrite. I explained quite succinctly why I hate the killing of birds as I see them suffer right in front of me. I also explained that I understand why some people do it. It's sort of like trying to balance one thing against the other. I can't help it if you don't understand what I'm trying to say. BTW great digging into what I write in my posts.

While I agree with much of your post and what we are missing in education, as a 24 year veteran teacher, it's not the teachers fault. All of these BS woke policies that don't allow consequences and high standards have been ushered in from above. I would love to hold students accountable, but I'm not allowed to anymore by administration. Things have drastically changed in the last 15 years.

This is what we've lost, and why our education system is failing. That WW2 principal knew what modern educators refuse to admit: children need heroes, high standards, and real consequences. He didn't ask permission to teach two years of math in one. He didn't survey parents about "comfort levels" with war stories. He didn't worry about triggering anyone. He just taught, with excellence, intensity, and unapologetic standards. And every single kid did their homework. Not because of threats, but because they wanted to earn something worth having, stories from someone who'd actually lived. This is the model that built the greatest generation. Teachers who'd seen real hardship. Standards that weren't negotiable. Merit-based rewards. No excuses accepted. Now? We have teachers who've never left campus, teaching kids that standards are oppressive, effort is optional, and failure is someone else's fault. We've replaced inspiration with accommodation. Excellence with equity. Heroes with activists. The result? A generation that can't do basic math, can't handle adversity, and doesn't believe in anything worth fighting for. We didn't just lose great teachers. We lost the entire philosophy that made great teaching possible. And we're watching our civilization decay because of it.

Similar story: 7th grade math teacher had left my school unexpectedly and so the principal, who had been in WW2, took over math class. He told amazing and brutal stories of his time in the war, while also doubling the normal curriculum speed to do 2 years of math in 1. But if you didn’t do your extra math homework, you didn’t get to hear the stories. Everyone did their homework.
FischerKing@FischerKing64

I had a male teacher for grades 5 and 6 who was highly eccentric (and not gay - he was a family man without a whiff of scandal). He had old printing presses in the classroom and we learned about how books and newspapers were printed - by printing our own pages with movable type we set ourselves. He showed us violent war movies. He had WW2 and Vietnam veterans come in and give graphic talks. One guy talked about his baptism of fire in Japan - he said something like ‘I jumped into the foxhole and killed two Japs with my pistol - I’m glad I bought that pistol off a guy before the fight because I might not be here if I hadn’t.’ The teacher would tells us the casualty figures of WW1 and 2 and sometimes start crying. He also taught us chess, and he spotted kids who were good in math. He gave me math problems well in advance of 6th grade, and ensured I was pushed up a level in middle school. He was tolerant of wild boy behavior - including boys throwing things at each other across the classroom. Only a few years later I heard he had to stop showing the war movies, the veterans weren’t allowed to give talks. He retired shortly thereafter - he was getting old anyway. But this kind of man used to teach elementary school. I don’t know why he wanted to do it - but he was good at it. And I don’t think there are many like him in public schools now - and that isn’t good for boys.

Thank you for including Edward Snowden on this list of principled individuals who stood up for liberty. His disclosures in 2013 sparked the global debate on mass surveillance that was desperately needed — and led to real reforms. Yet he remains in exile, unable to return home, because the U.S. government continues to pursue him under the Espionage Act for acting in the public interest. No one should face lifelong exile or prison for revealing systemic overreach that violates our rights. Edward fought for our freedom. It's long past time he had his own. Join us as we champion a pardon. #PardonSnowden

Interesting take on the privacy pivot in crypto, @CryptoCapo_ – $ZEC's surge and $XMR's resilience highlight why true financial sovereignty matters now more than ever amid CBDCs and surveillance. Snowden's warnings on privacy as a human right has never been more relevant. Edward Snowden saw the future and we could really use his insight and guidance now...bring him home! #PardonSnowden #PrivacyCoins x.com/CryptoCapo_/st…

🚨🚨 BREAKING: The Trump administration is in talks with former intelligence analyst Edward Snowden for a TOTAL AND COMPLETE PARDON as well as Snowden’s return to The United States. These talks are reportedly being led by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, a long time advocate and supporter of clemency for Snowden, who EXPOSED the fact that the NSA has been secretly spying on the communications of American citizens WITHOUT PROBABLE CAUSE FOR DECADES after the passage of The Patriot Act in the post 9/11 era. Edward Snowden is not a traitor… He is an American hero and a patriot who revealed the treasonous activity that our government has been engaging in against us in blatant violation of our 4th Amendment rights. Tens of millions of us are totally in support of this… This would be perhaps President Trump’s greatest act of clemency of all-time. PARDON SNOWDEN AND BRING HIM HOME NOW!
