If we got good roads, clean water, livable metro cities, public transport, private school fee regulation, walkable footpaths, green spaces and parks, from the taxes we pay - you will see lesser DINKs. Have leaders thought that they're losing future tax payers by being greedy now?

INR is a falling knife. Change 5000 INR into Thai currency (THB)-- you will get 1030 THB. Now, try changing that 1030 THB back to INR, you will get only 2989 INR back (instead of 5000). This 40% "spread" indicates how illiquid (& weak) INR is. - No one bothers. - Media won't educate you. - Everyone says: why even bother, you will stay in Indis; spend in India, right? Wrong. That's not how it works. Just because YOU don't spend in USD or AED, does not mean that it doesn't hurt you. India is a net importer. And, is likely to remain so. Whenever something is imported, you need to pay in a foreign currency. Just because you are not paying this "directly" does not mean this payment is not happening. As the currency falls, your buying power (globally) gets depleted. Solution? if you want to travel abroad, send kids abroad, plan your retirement or simply retain your buying power: Start saving in a foreign currency. Example: invest in US stocks. This is legal. One of the many ways. Else, you might look at your SIP growth= 12% Pay 12.5% tax= roughly 10.5% Currency depreciation = 8% Net returns= 2.5-3% The new reality is: to retire in India, you need to invest abroad. The sooner you get started the better it is. India is a great growth story. Use it strategically. Don't buy it at any valuation. Buy it only when the valuations are low.

@MFuturewala India was naturally blessed with such a perfect climate and highly fertile soil ... It literally takes 1% of effort to grow a tree here compared to rest of countries like Canada,UAE etc but what did we do? Concrete concrete concrete concrete.

A country where the kids and grandkids of the richest family are American citizens, and the Foreign Minister's son is an American citizen, and the most powerful security Czar's son is a British citizen, is a country where the elite have tied their future not with the Motherland, and hence they'll have no reason to take a stand that upsets their foreign beneficiaries in the least bit. We are living that reality right now as the country is driven into reverse gear.

Various state police are sending notices to Twitter seeking user details even for trivial issues, like mere criticism of state functioning. Such cases rarely hold up in court, and even the police know it. They still proceed because they know that the process is the punishment. They seek details; Twitter notifies the user that the police want their information, that alone is usually enough to scare most people. If details are shared, the user is called to the police station for questioning. In most cases, they’re let go after that, but by then the process has worn them down enough to deter them from speaking again. So people, waqt sahi nahi hai. Unless you have strong backing and/or big money, be careful about what you write. The rights you think you have don’t actually exist if a state decides to go after you.

The Real Estate market is in slowdown is no secret. It most likely will worsen. The X factor that can revive it is: Corruption. If your bet is that Corruption will rise even further, it will pick up sooner. If you bet is that Corruption will reduce, it will slide fast.

Mumbai receives 8 months of sunshine and experiences a hot and humid climate. It now has a 5.25 km sea-facing promenade without any tropical trees (yes they planted few after getting belt treatment)😭 Indian bureaucracy is perhaps the world's worst urban planners in the world

Indian Economy is now a race to the bottom. 1) To win election you need to give freebies 2) To give freebies you need to divert capital from long-term plans. And, tax people more. 3) No long-term planning= poor growth. Poor growth = increases the need for freebies. We are basically in a death loop.

My political preference is no secret. My disillusionment with BJP is also no secret. In the West Bengal elections - democracy may be the winner but governance will be the loser. If TMC wins - the state will go deeper in abyss. If BJP wins - it will become even more arrogant.

According to Ajit Agarkar, Mohammed Shami is not good enough to play for team India just because he is 35 now & made shit excuses like fitness & all. Shami even gave him the reply that he is fit & after that played entire domestic season, still Agarkar didn't select him & got trashed in home test series once again after New Zealand. Meanwhile, Mitchell Starc is still playing for Australia at 36 & Australian selectors are not applying age based discrimination on him & in return Starc single handedly won Australia the Ashes. Shami was our WC hero, CT hero & he deserved better treatment, an average bowler can't decide Shami's fate!!

"Give them bread and circuses and they will never revolt"-- This is a timeless political strategy. And, is now the cornerstone of Indian politics in 2026. As a direct taxpayer, you're NOT the majority. You're an exception. The sooner you get this through your head, the better your life will be. Two practical ways to survive this:- 1) Be a cow. Keep paying taxes. You will be milked till you're useless. Then you'll be on your own. 2) Leave. Both options are tough. Pick your tough.
BJP@BJP4India

All unemployed youth in Bengal will receive ₹3,000 in their bank accounts on the first of every month. We will provide ₹21,000 to every pregnant mother for the care of her child. The BJP government will implement 33% reservation in government jobs, and from 1 June, all women will get free bus travel. The BJP government will increase the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi from ₹6,000 to ₹9,000. - Shri @AmitShah #BanglarMoneSudhuiBJP
