@AustinRBechtold Maybe instead of blaming Barco or the pitching situation, blame 0-10 with RISP in the first 9 innings. The pitching did it's job today, they shouldn't have been in extras.
English

@Pirates247 @steel_city_crtv He was really good... for like six minutes
English

@steel_city_crtv i had high expectations for him… wtf happened?

"The Lord of the Rings is of course a fundamentally religious and Catholic work; unconsciously at first, but consciously in the revision." - J.R.R Tolkien
Hey Jack, that quote is from the author. Smh.
Human Events@HumanEvents
.@JackPosobiec: Lord of the Rings is overtly pagan.
English

@_j_a_k_e_d No, they just have to stay above either one or both of CBJ or NYI. That's it. Forget about the wild card.
English

Something to keep an eye on here. The Penguins need to start grabbing some regulation wins down the stretch.
As of now, Boston and Ottawa have tie breaker on them. They are 2 regulation wins up on Columbus and Isles though, which matters more.
Jake@_j_a_k_e_d
This is just insanity. Any of these teams lose a regulation game and they have a chance of dropping to 9th. Just wild stuff
English

@MattGajtka If they lose, you can forget about the WC. But I still wouldn't worry. Because even if they lose AND NYI wins, they're only one point out with 10 games.
It's basically just Pens vs Isles for the final Metro spot. We don't need to fret.
Monday's game against NYI is a huge one.
English

If the Pens lose tonight in regulation, I officially give my permission to worry. Any other result and we're not allowed

Big night for playoff chances:
English

@JonnyRoot_ He has to go toward the ref where the ball is and ask for the TO immediately. Once Kentucky picked up the ball, he couldn't call a TO by rule.
The more egregious mistake is by the clock operator. He lets Kentucky get two full dribbles before starting the clock.
English

@sidmeowsby They also have the fewest regulation losses. So, all things being equal, they're probably right where they should be.

@MikeKra00891797 @OTCellyy This is a smart take. Gainwell was really good, but it was mostly due to the volume of dump-offs.
English

@OTCellyy Warren will get more time third downs. They will sign another RB2 (not as good as Ken). The big difference is the WR room post draft will be infinitely better and get many of those targets Gainwell got as dump offs. Gainwell was out top receiver but that is because of the WR room
English

Steelers couldn’t match that? Warren/Gainwell was an elite duo in the backfield.
I don’t think people realize how big of a loss that is

Buccaneers signing RB Kenneth Gainwell to a two-year, $14M deal. (via @rapsheet)
English

@JoshYohe_PGH I wouldn't use the words "Islanders" and "fun" in the same sentence... unless it also includes the word "NOT."
English

@TheMitchellRoss What I meant was this has been the first in many years the front office has shown interest in signing a legit lineup. Could’ve gave him a great roster to play with, a chance for postseason, retire a Bucco. Cutch’s bat wasn’t awful when he came back, but now it’s gone downhill.
English

Hate that the team drug their feet the last couple years with Cutch. Now the team gets serious and cuts him. I get its business but the man deserves better.

Andrew McCutchen will join the Rangers on a minor league deal after spending the last three years back in Pittsburgh
English

@ds_hoffman @JoshuaBarzon Super valid input. I have nothing against doing it weekly; I was just speaking from my experience.
English

@TheMitchellRoss @JoshuaBarzon In my experience, making it less frequent is what makes it trite and meaningless, because it gets perceived as optional and not very important.
English

@AutisticHODL @JoshuaBarzon Exactly, which is why I prefer monthly. That was the church I grew up in as a kid, so I didn't really have much of a say.
English

@TheMitchellRoss @JoshuaBarzon Quarterly is almost like not doing it at all. It doesn’t feel right.
English

@ThePoniExpress I have a wife + 3 kids. It would cost me at least $350+ to take the whole fam, park, and eat. Probably more. I can't afford to take my whole family, so I only go 1-2 times per year right now with a buddy.
Plus, parking and construction is a mess around the stadium right now.
