Looking back I loved the pop culture references that were in the old D1 live action trailers tbh. I get that they were 100% forced, but I feel like they enhanced D1's post-post-apocalypse vibe oddly enough. I get why the actual games didn't do the same shit, but it was cute

calamity's use of leitmotif is kind of funny to me. like the main antagonist's motif is in the title screen ofc and in the themes of his closest ally and also the phase 1 theme of this random dude but specifically only the phase 1

@sleepy_shivers one thing i learned ages ago with trans discourse is that i don't need to understand why somebody feels the way they do, only trust that they are the best arbiter for their own identity. personally i don't understand why anybody would want to be a trans guy, yet people still do.
