NEWS: South Alabama’s Adam Olsen intends to enter the transfer portal, his agents Jared Mucha and Dan Cutler of @excelbasketball tell DraftExpress. The Canadian junior forward joins Milan Momcilovic as the only two NCAA DI players 6’8” or taller to make 100+ threes this season, doing so on a blistering 40+ 3P%. Young for his class with still plenty of further upside to tap into — will certainly have a robust market.

Big Shots Spotlight! Jordan “Boogie” Cook (6’7 2028 Christian Academy of Louisville, KY) “Boogie” has a sturdy frame allowing him to overwhelm many guards and small forwards with punishing physicality while working off the bounce and combines that with fluid athleticism, quick bursts and shifty footwork as a playmaker. He handles the ball exceptionally well getting to the rim with good regularity and also getting to his spots off the dribble where he is a lethal mid range shot maker with smooth shot mechanics. A bruising yet crafty finisher with touch he is an explosive leaper and is able to finish with either hand around the rim. His high motor, agility and physical makeup allows him to impact multiple positions on both ends of the floor. As a shot maker he is a threat out beyond the arc working off the ball but is extremely efficient in the mid range whether creating off the bounce or out of catch and shoot action. Has a good burst when attacking space, rangy. He has excellent vision and is a savvy playmaker, able to create for others in addition to his prolific scoring ability. Defensively “Boogie” is strong and active inside and shows the ability to switch defensively and guard either wing position in space. Agile, athletic and long, impressive lateral mobility. “Boogie” is ranked one of the top prospects in Kentucky and nationally for that matter in the 2028 class. He already holds offers from Indiana, Kansas State, Virginia Tech and Texas A&M. Exciting physical profile and versatile skill set. @BoogieCook14 @BigShotsToday @BigShotsGlobal
