Got a parent in tomorrow for a student who's behaviour I'm really struggling with. Not going to be alone, but it is the first time I've had to have a meeting like this 😬 I need it to be as constructive as possible but I'm not willing to lower my expectations, any tips?!

Starting my 25th year in teaching. Talking to lady in the supermarket and she asked, ‘what do they do for you when you get this far?’ my response was the truth-nothing! Recruitment incentives should be throughout the career not simply at the start. Experience should be valued.

I’m not extravagant, I’ve lived a pretty frugal life. So I think I need some luxuries in my life. What is the best luxury you have or do to make things better? Doesn’t have to be expensive, and if anyone says herbal fucking tea or plants or other such bollocks you’ll be blocked.
