Not necessarily. If you read books that teach you how to get ahead, they often talk about using your money to work for you. This often means investing into things that will make you money long term. But this also means that your money is tied up into those investments until they come to fruition. Example buying a second house to rent out; you may have tied up your money for the next 15 to 30 years, getting enough to break even on the mortgage but not fully cover all expenses, so until the mortgage is paid off, you’re going to be tight. But in the end, you now have a property where it is mostly profit. In many cases people leverage what they have and get even more loans, way beyond their normal means to buy more investments to try and get ahead faster. This works great if things go well, but if you invested into stocks and the market goes down; you’re screwed until it rebounds. So no, there are reasons why someone who is making that much money is living paycheck to paycheck.

It's distressing the number of people who believe you have the right to kill somebody because that person threw a punch at you. Something that might turn out to be important is where the property line is. I think this was on the side of the yard belonging to the victim, which means the killer could not claim "stand your ground" because he was essentially trespassing.

You’re not grasping the argument. It won’t make a difference in how many non-citizens vote. It will make a very tangible difference in how many CITIZENS vote, because many will be turned away and not allowed to vote. Also, the republicans don’t gaf about the bill.
