@TaroTheCerelean It could be a fun experience, however I feel like it would be lacking a lot of context to truly appreciate it. At this point, I'd hang in there until post Re:Part 3, and play OG then watch it. Thats just my opinion though.

I also agree though that Caleb kinda got the short end of the stick with Zack, he got his most iconic lines as his very first which made him horrible in Remake, and pretty sure he had 0 freedom in Reunion. Rebirth he finally found his footing.

@Jingoku @_SpyDtroid_ Idk I think he sounds fine in Rebirth. Probably just finding his legs in Reunion. Not to mention it's more of a porting issue. Probably needed to hit the same time frame etc.

Since I sadly finished FF7 I did say I would want to play Crisis Core BUT I don’t know which version I should play 😭 I’ve heard the voice acting in the remaster is bad and I’ve heard the gameplay is bad in the PSP version so I DON’T KNOW MAN. Which version should I play?

@_CallmeZo_ @bowlympicshero @_SpyDtroid_ Actually i'm pretty confident both actors received the same direction which restricted a lot of Caleb's freedom particularly since he had the OG to compete with. Rick Gomez just made it work.

@bowlympicshero @_SpyDtroid_ Not true, Reunion's VA isn't bad, it's just inferior to the voice direction of OG CC, Zack being the worst offender. His VA in Reuinion isn't bad, I blame the voice director.

@_SpyDtroid_ There's a mod for at least the old Zack voice, not sure if it does the others too, that you can download for Reunion if you want the best of both worlds.

@TranceKuja_ Im still gonna die on the Rick Gomez hill, HOWEVER Caleb Pierce got the opportunity to do such a better job in Rebirth that I can't say he's bad at it anymore. I mostly blame squenix for setting him up brand new with his most iconic lines then not giving freedom in Reunion.

I also met the voice of Zack for a second time and got him to add to my Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth cover. Told him we need Square to hurry up and tell us the name at least lol He said it’s so hard for him not to say anything but he’s the nicest guy ever. Stood in front of his table and gave loads of hugs and was so awesome. Absolute lovely human being.
