Regarding the @Daddyphatsnaps video intro. I’ve been a professional motion graphics designer for almost 10 years. Whether you know me or not, you’ve definitely seen something I made. If I’m commissioned for a motion project like the DPS intro, depending on the art style, I’ll subcontract certain visual assets to trusted and fast illustrators I’ve used on motion projects for many years before generative AI ever existed. This is exactly what I did in this case. I have a longstanding relationship with the people I work with, and I stand by their work. Full stop. I love and support illustrators, but some of y’all are getting really insufferable with how you pixel peep every illustration to see signs of AI influence. Saw someone say my album covers on spotify were AI generated (despite coming out in what… 2020), which is an insult to folks like Bowe, a real person who actually did the art. All i’ll say is, it’s okay to be passionate about art, but if you’re overzealous with that passion, you’ll lose the plot start crapping on real people’s work. Like for real, you got time to peruse my spotify and social media accounts but not listen or engage? Trust me, I’m nowhere near worth any of that time spent hate scrolling. Oh yeah, it’s my birthday. I really love you all.

Ngl, it’s a special kind of sting when you drop a visual of you laying dead in a coffin, rapping about how you almost killed yourself, and people don’t care to watch it until they’re given a negative reason to. I make this stuff so people can seek genuine feels, not generative fills. No blame assigned, we’re all just human.
