@alexkehr @henryksarat @tian_zhi_chen It is the most profitable company per employee in history. You’re just a retard who doesn’t research And tether is top 10 as well, for almost a decade now Crypto has verifiably broken records in financial systems

@henryksarat @tian_zhi_chen proves my point. not a breakout if it’s not known outside the crypto people world. also, it wasn’t VC backed

it’s pretty wild that VCs poured billions into web3 and the category didn’t produce one breakout company

Graham Stephan reveals why he is SELLING ALL OF HIS REAL ESTATE "My properties in Los Angeles do not make a lot of money" "Most people have this idea of these multimillion dollar plots of land by the beach that just collect massive checks every month, but in reality, the truth couldn't be further from that" "Once you account for property taxes, insurance, repairs, maintenance, property management expenses, city registration fees, & other miscellaneous costs, my total cash flow works out to be 4-5% ... that's it ... for the time, risk and headaches it is just not worth it..." "You know what else pays 4-5%? Risk free treasuries, Municipal Bonds, Savings accounts, Money Market funds, and with those I'm not subject to endless restrictions, phone calls, emails, and constant negotiations"

@Xeratricky It creates for more complex wave management. Pushing hardcore and killing minions asap is not the right move all the time. In fact, most of the time focusing on denies and not massacring enemy minions is much better. Dota also punishes constant wave pushing.

Been talking about this since it got introduced. It's an interesting mechanic I guess since it's the first time I've experienced it in a MOBA but it just feels so wrong? If you manage to have a stacked wave pushing into the enemy tower, you're actually at a disadvantage since the enemy has multiple 14% missing HP heals on top of the flat I think 150 HP heal that scales throughout the game. It just feels weird to be punished for pushing my minion wave to the enemy
Lefaa@LefaaWR

Remove heal minions from enemy troopers. in what world is fighting someone with 3 waves beneficial to the enemy cus he can just ignore you and heal back to full hp off the healer troops. Also makes laning low skill and forgiving

VC-funded web3sec AIs don't share their audit reports/vuln data. But they leech everyone's data from @SoloditOfficial, drinking from it like a thirsty mouth in the desert. Why should @Cyfrin continue to effectively subsidize their data collection when they share nothing?

I beg you to give up on your old dead bags this cycle. If they haven’t been successful in 4+ years it’s unlikely for them to start now. Even if the founders are still working hard, they simply can’t compete for the best talent. They’ve given away a lot of equity and tokens, which is the main tool they have to attract the best talent in the world. Startups are structured to have a short amount of time to find success. 5 year old startups should have clear product market fit and a path to sustainable revenue. The best people need to want to work there because of their talent density and product momentum. If you see anything else, it’s not a good sign. And just because you’re down a lot does not mean it will ever recover. This has to be one of the hardest things to do, cutting ties with something you may have put a lot of your time into but you have to do it.

@KhanAbbas201 Rate limits, TVL caps, good development practices can enable you to safely experiment with no audit. Much to the chagrin of my sales guy, ive told tons of clients that they dont need an audit when they have their ducks in a row. Yearn is a great example of how to do this

One of the biggest reasons why it's hard to experiment in crypto is security audits and their costs. I've spoken to more than 10 teams in the last month who are all currently ready to launch on mainnet, but are held back by audits and their insane cost. A basic audit can cost up to 50k for a small codebase, which makes it hard for bootstrapped projects to launch and explore if they should even be spending their time on this. The industry did a terrible job of overpricing security audits and it has strongly held the space back.

@windhustler @ethereumfndn Amazing, let’s play the same game as 2024 and 2025 where uniswap/etc funds would subsidize only for the lowest priced audits which caused literal shit tier quality and race to the bottom let’s only support small inexperienced researchers, after all we are retarded in crypto

It really is a wonder that everyone obsessed with crypto still isn’t used to price fluctuations If you can’t handle -30% daily wicks you won’t get +50% daily Though it really feels that 2020 and before are barely 10% of ct anymore
