@Krexxal On this subject we do not agree. Things like AOTC and gladiator rewards are what give it a purpose as all our gear will become irrelevant in time, without that a lot of people will most certainly stop engaging with the content, possible even the game as a whole

I think you're underestimating the amount of people who really do value being able to use any Pokemon or who carry their favorites with them from generation to generation. Dexit was a pretty huge shift in how the series supports itself and it's "sandbox" It also doesn't help that the explanation they gave for why it was happening didn't make sense at the time: Galar itself didn't really use new models or animations for older Pokemon so it seemed like they were just straight up lying. Had they waited till Legends Arceus to do Dexit, when there actually was a fundamental shift to the gameplay formula anyways and there really was new models and animations, I don't think that the outrage would have been (as) severe

@IceTrainerBen It's a spin off. Any deviation at from the main series would be a spin off. Legends is it's own series, just like Let's Go, just like Mystery Dungeon, or Colossuem, etc. Legends series isnt even the same genre as the main series, it's an Action RPG
