We have been advocating for reforms and inclusion of startups in the Auto PLI eligibility. With the recommendations of the parliamentary committee yesterday we are hopeful that startups will now get on a level the playing field. The committee has taken cognizance of the restrictive barriers that have historically sidelined pure-electric startups, even those with cutting edge EV tech. I believe these reforms will unlock capital for startups to scale not just in sales volumes, but in R&D efforts, indigenous IP creation and commercialization of local technologies. Restoring ambitious targets for the e-mobility ecosystem and extending these incentives to startups ensures that India doesn't just transition, but dominates global exports. We are ready to move into the $100 billion global market, proving that Indian startups are the true engines of an Atmanirbhar, electrified future! @atherenergy
