@MatthewCappucci Sometime around 2007 when WiFi went from being something you could charge for to becoming an amenity. And then doubled down when Cellcos provided unlimited data and roaming. Best wifi now is going to be at high end hotels that will pay for an IT staff.

I love staying in hotels but it stymies me why, in 2026, so many truly struggle to have useable wifi.
