If Bill C-22 passes, it allows any law enforcement agency to monitor your internet traffic, without a warrant. It essentially makes every Canadian a suspect, without probable cause or judicial oversight through warrants. It would breach Section 7, 8 and 11(d) at minimum.

@zentreya Whenever I get these emails, I don't click on the link provided. I go to the website in a new tab, I type in the URL that I know, not the one from the email. I check logins, connected devices and/or orders depending on the site. Never fell for a scam yet.

I usually don’t have issues with this but I legit almost fell for this, reminder to check who the email comes from or double check its authenticity before clicking any links! Almost clicked without checking the email in a panic. Be safe! Double check! Triple check! 😅

@ranopikori There is a lot of Asian descendant in some of the Western South American countries. One on my friends ' family is from Chili, and there is Japanese lineage in the family, which shows up in her.

I live in Japan, and people here always hit me with “You half?” And a Chilean dude straight-up told me, “You’re not Japanese.” So now I’m like… okay then, what do I look like to non‑Japanese people? What country do I give off vibes from? Hit me with the honest takes.

My biggest food take is that meat being bigger in food is NOT a good thing. I despise ordering a sandwich or burger and the meat is like 4 inches thick versus half an inch bread and toppings. I want my food to be proportional!!!! Equal amounts of bread, toppings, and meat!!!!

@yoyonofukuoka I agree, the tipping system should not be implemented. It only breeds an entitlement, where down the road, staff members will expect a tip, no matter how good or bad the service was, and they will throw a tantrum when they don't get a tip...

I’m Japanese. Lately, I’ve seen some foreign visitors who were impressed by Japanese hospitality saying that Japan should introduce a tipping system. However, I strongly disagree. The reason is that actions which have so far been driven purely by a sincere sense of duty and genuine kindness toward customers would be distorted by a new dynamic, throwing off the current balance. In other words, what used to be the goal—providing good service—would turn into a means to earn an incentive. As a result, the overall quality of service in Japan would likely decline. If you’re truly impressed by a staff member’s service, instead of giving them a tip, please tell the manager or owner, “That employee’s service was outstanding.” We simply want you, our guests who come to Japan for fun, to enjoy yourselves—that’s all.
