@themollycox 1st, serious question: what does public $ aid to small local businesses look like? More grants? 2nd, small local merchants are lacking steady business even on busy, clear roads. How are residents going out of their way 2 visit chains/familiar businesses & ignoring small/local?

@CleanGuayabera My daughter went to Alamo community college to lean this trade. She hated it (whatever, that's another story) She could have commanded 90k in EP county. Things didn't work out as planned, but she's still making more at the age of 22 than I did at the age of 35.

@CleanGuayabera Court reporters are needed in Texas!! Every single legal proceeding requires one. When court cases get rescheduled, it's probably because there wasn't a court reporter. It costs about 10-12k to learn this skill... probably a better ROI than a lib arts degree (no offense).
