Trying to complain about dreadful charges within membership of @TheRAC_UK takes 8 weeks for them to respond if you use their clunky App. Meanwhile, plenty of scam RAC look-alikes reply here on X. Beware of the fakes! I’m not happy with the real one either.

@TheRAC_UK tell me why it's a three hour wait to help get a stuck wheel off a hub but you can change the same tyre for £160 within an hour...make it make sense.

@TheRAC_UK 2 months ago my wife’s car broke down and you never turned up till the next day . Was expensive to get home on the train etc . She’s now broke down again and it waiting on her own in a car park . Her times have already changed twice. 1/2

@TheRAC_UK ahh this is how it works! You pay for years for a service you haven’t ever needed but THE DAY finally arrives and you need help, they just don’t turn up! Been waiting all day today only to be told they hadn’t ordered correct vehicle to collect our car for recovery!
