I’m not assuming anything lol. I have been watching the Rangers for 30 plus years. It’s not an easy market to play in. Did I say anywhere people only have this issue in NY? Just like Ranger fans to be the first ones to trash somebody. Same people will defend someone for no reason. God forbid you make an objective point like NY the biggest market there is can make the pressure that much harder on players and fuckin people go that’s not fair to say. Jesus Christ.

I didn’t say a big game. Playing in NY for the Rangers will always be a different beast. The pressure gets to lots of people. It was affecting his confidence. I’m not stepping out on some crazy ledge here. Happens quite often to players who come to NY to play in the garden. See every superstar we have ever had except Panarin and Messier lol.

That’s the season. Devastating final month of games. Can sit here and say we never would’ve expected to be in the mix this year but once the team had so much success and momentum, there’s no other option but to make the playoffs.. this is a playoff team. Thats the expectation now, so it’s a disaster that they didn’t get it done. Future is bright regardless of how negative our isles fan base will be. Tonight, we will not be going to Borrellis.

I believe the New York Rangers have 5 open slots for ELCs right now - they have 45 contracts and NHL allows a maximum of 50 Brody Lamb and Drew Fortescue will probably be 2 of those I assume. Lambs season ended last night, Fortescues season can possibly end tonight. Fortescue can sign a 3 year ELC - while Lamb is only eligible for 2. Both would likely not start their ELC until 26-27 but can ATO with Hartford and finish the season there. Raoul Boilards signing rights expire on June 1st, his QMJHL team has clinched the playoffs so his season won’t be ending until at least early April. My expectation is that Rangers don’t ELC him Nathan Aspinall, Liam Greentree, and Jacob Battaglia have all been ELCed already and are part of the 45 already signed, despite being in the OHL Ty Henricks is a possible ELC candidate. He had a strong year with Western Mich but I think he stays for his junior year - he’ll get a larger role next season to cement a ELC bid Other NCAA prospects like Emery, Spence, and Barnhill will not make the jump So with the final 3 spots, Rangers can definitely take advantage of the college free agent market. TJ Hughes is the name that keeps making sense as he’s graduating and needs to sign this year. He’s eligible for a 1 year ELC - Flyers are also monitoring his situation Jack Musa doesn’t technically need to ELC with 1 year of college eligibility left but belief is that he’s looking to sign a ELC - eligible for a 2 year ELC Names like JJ Wiebusch and Hayden Stavroff still have 2 years of college eligibility so it’s not guaranteed or even likely they’d take the jump Of course they should always keep a couple slots open for waiver adds - they’ve already added 2 waiver wire pick ups with Kartye and Iorio and both have shown some good things #NYR
