@Jenny_1884 Maybe one day one of your tweets will tell us what you will do, rather than all the things you won’t do (which are all pretty normal things btw?
English

@Ria1984 I have tried this but we have sooo many parental complaints. We are ruining the children’s school by not doing it…
English

As always schools for #worldbookday please encourage pyjamas and bringing favourite books. Costumes are expensive and often end up in landfill.
The stats on how many children don’t have books in their homes are rather sad. Let’s not have parents waste money.

@Jenny_1884 @NickHarris50458 Deflect deflect deflect
Answer the question!
English

@NickHarris50458 Why are Labour continuing it.
Why don’t you ask Keir Starmer
English

@Jenny_1884 @StuartDevlin8 How do you link it to Covid- explain that?
English

@StuartDevlin8 It all started after Covid as you know.
Nothing to do with Brexit.
English

@IO2G4U @its_The_Dr What a load of rubbish.. when did you last teach a maths class or any class?
English

@its_The_Dr A class will only progress as fast as it’s ‘weakest’ student, negatively impacting the more knowledgeable students. If you are encountering this ( and probably other reasons), remove your student and homeschool them or sent to private school.
English

Mother says her daughter is 1 of only 4 children in her entire math class that speaks English
“She doesn't get to learn math because there's 20 plus other kids who don't know English and the teacher has to accommodate them”
“Why am I paying property taxes? Why am I paying income tax? Why am I paying taxes for anything for my children to have a the right to a free and public education?
English

@ColinBrazierTV Safe to say you are talking utter rubbish. Was there earlier this week. Exactly what is it that scares you about seeing humans who look different to you?
English

Did that really just happen? (Wrong show)
@luciejones1 joined by @MazzMurray Zoe Birkett @alice_fearn, Grace Mouat and @marishawallace for 'Six'. Just sensational!
English

This week's theatre plans:
@luciejones1
Dracula
Polly
Deep Azure
Grindr Mom
@MJtheMusicalUK
What's everyone else seeing this week?
English

@AliArthPainter As you admitted in your fist reply, you said that you were only talking about the ones that don’t. When you have spent time with me, in my class, with the children, then you can say whether I care about them. All I am asking I don’t tar everyone with the same brush.
English

@TheRealMrM Again, your deflection does nothing to assure me that teachers care about disabled students.
English

@AliArthPainter I will leave you as we are getting nowhere here. Just wish you could accept that saying a sweeping doesn’t help and only upsets those who try hard daily to support all children they teach
English

@TheRealMrM You're deflecting from the point.
English

@AliArthPainter I can do both things, but with you, my issue is your sweeping statement made publicly.
English

@TheRealMrM Why are you focusing on my wording and not the teachers who lack empathy?
English

@AliArthPainter Then say some or many teachers in your original comment!
English

@TheRealMrM And many who aren't. They're who I'm talking about.
English

@juoig7799 @AliArthPainter You seem to be confusing eduction with entertainment.
English

@AliArthPainter I remember back in secondary school I would get a bit worried to ask some teachers to read the question out to me again and end up just guessing becuase sometimes I zone out and that's considered 'not paying attention'. What about pw neurodivergent conditions (like me)??
English

@DeputyGrocott Hope it is going well and tomorrow finishes quickly!
English

@port27500 @tombennett71 You are so wrong - guessing not a teacher
English

@tombennett71 So much comes down to the skill and experience of the teacher. Put the right teacher in that classroom and that would not have occurred.
English

If more people outside of education could see what can happen inside schools, there would be a much bigger constituency for change. Part of the problem is that people outside the sector find it hard to grasp how challenging it is to manage a room with 25 children when some of them don’t care to do as they are asked.
