Because if you’re willing to kill an innocent 110 pound girl, I assure you that you do not to hear what I consider cruel and unusual.
Example: Cutting off his 4 limbs and beating him with a baseball bat to unconsciousness for days on end as lays there helpless? That would be justice but cruel and unusual.
Hanging him from the gallows the night after the guilty verdict is an act of mercy.

@PunishedNeutral @dyingscribe lots of the comics’ jokes and characters are products of its time and frankly needed changing,and the pacing and slight reordering of events is done better in the show imo. also the side characters like debbie and donald get better storylines, and amber is rewritten entirely

The Titan scene in season 4 is a microcosm of the shows larger writing issue. For example, they want you to think that Mark has the same anger issues in the comic

Mark Grayson was a mature and developed and healthier person at the end of invincible after going through a lot of shit He was not this levelheaded and thoughtful throughout it. Writing from his end state in mind is a terrible mistake and one that shows because they can’t allow Mark to be too rough, partly because he still has to be relatable to audiences that can handle gore more that they can handle edge
