I keep seeing the Matthew Stanford comment by Hasselbeck. Let’s get a couple pieces of information clear: Stafford played 12 years in Detroit. He had a career losing record. The team had zero stability. Multiple head coaches, and an 0-16 season. Couple that with being owned by one of the richest families in the USA… Burrow has a career winning record, 2 AFCC Games and a Super Bowl Appearance under the same HC in 6 Season. This is not the same scenario.

This is the dumbest take of all time. Burrow has two AFC Title Game appearances and a SB appearance. *Checks notes* Did Stafford ever do that with Detroit? Nope. Where is this take for Lamar and Josh who have never made a SB let alone beaten Mahomes in the playoffs?

Hi - Bengals fan here. Cincinnati offered Trey a three year deal just last season which he turned down. Trey is 3 years older and if this coming season was anything like last year - can he even stay healthy? Dex is 3 years younger and even though last season was a down year for him he’s a better pass rusher and run defender than Trey right now. Plus isn’t this universally considered like the worst draft class in ages? There won’t be an impact player on the defensive side of the ball worth a 1st rd grade at 10. F that pick!

Curious what you guys think, does this Dex trade make any sense with the context that they could’ve just not treated Trey Hendrickson like shit, extended him, and kept the 10th pick? I know he and Dex do some different things but is their net impact not about the same?

If the Bengals don't take the swing for Lawrence, the narrative is, "What does Burrow think about the lack of aggression", and when they do take the swing, it turns into, "If the results don't follow, will Burrow be happy?" Schefter needs to stick to copying and pasting agent texts on personnel matters/transactions and save the tired narratives masquerading as analysis.

I mean what did he say that was wrong? Besides the stage (which kinda sucked compared to the last few years) and it being in a stadium…what about that show felt like WrestleMania? What match from yesterday will you honestly say you will go back to in a few years and rewatch? The talent is there. The roster has never been better from a bell to bell POV. It’s not their fault at all. But when you throw a bunch of sub 10 minute matches on a show in between over 2 hours of ads and talking heads, the show is doomed to fail. Here is to hoping tonight will be much better 🤷🏻‍♂️

Ads suck but we have seen seeing all the ads for awhile now, and contrary to popular belief not all of us want a four hour wrestling show, two and half hours is plenty. The matches were to short is my only gripe.

If tomorrow sucks, #WrestleMania is dead as we know it. All the extra fun stuff like surprises, cameos, and backstage interviews have been replaced by ESPN ads, Applebees commercials, video packages, and announcer yapping. Corporate dipshits screwing with creative. 4 hour show, about an hour 20-ish of wrestling. Two hours of bullshit. The talent works hard, none of this is on them, but these matches are pretty typical for TV or PPV. I'm not asking anyone to go out and k*ll themselves, this ain't AEW, but there used to be a Mania-match feel that was absent from most of Saturday's matches. Night 2 has potential, but we're still going to have APPLEBEES COMMMERCIALS. Mania can definitely still have it's moments (congrats Bianca), production and entrances are badass, but that Mania day feeling inside is gone. It's like how McDonalds used to look in the 80s/90s compared to the gray box of shit it's become now. That's what this has done to my nostalgia. Brag about your gates and your viral moments all you want, but back in the day even the bad WrestleManias still felt like WrestleMania. Y'all have absolutely murdered that feeling. Thanks, @WWE. As a fan of 44 years I can't tell you what that means to me.
