@tv_ir_X There must be other cities.
English

@irobot_destroy @DDGSarah Look how well your plans worked out in Iraq.
English

@DDGSarah Americans have no beef with the good people of Iran. We encourage them to turn the tables on the pathetic Islamic regime that brought their country to ruin.
I hear promising news from Iran… could you imagine how wonderful a country it would be to flip to majority Christian?

@StrewthQueen They're not really. It's just the lunatic right from the Coalition moving. Just RW arseholes who were always going to vote for a RW arsehole voting for a different RW arsehole.
English

@MindfulL205 The US exports theirs to South America. Western Europe exports theirs to Eastern Europe. It's just wealthy countries cleaning up their air by exporting the old shit to poorer places. In Australia, they move from long haul in the country to short haul in the cities. 😵💫
English

@Paul_Nield_Oz @Qldaah Are you aware that light vehicles in Australia account for 9% of CO2 emissions (look it up)? Fugitive emissions alone from mining account for 10%. One efficient bus can take 30 cars off the road. Start thinking. There's a lot that could be done that would actually mean something
English

@TheRealWilso @Qldaah Do you really believe that! How do you propose to reduce CO2 emissions then?
English

The Windrose electric prime mover (which has a 700 kWh battery) covered the trip from Sydney to Canberra in a single charge. #auspol thedriven.io/2026/03/30/fas…

@ILoveSnooker_ He would have to play!
English

@Peter_Fitz Someone told me over the weekend that they wouldn’t support Chalmers to be the next PM because he’s a committed Zionist. Based on your knowledge of him, could that be true?

@james00000001 @mikeshome2000 Labor doesn’t have any responsible ministers
English

@mikeshome2000 "Most towns are out of fuel"
FMD you dare to call me a stooge, when I'm reporting facts from the responsible Minister, whereas you're making up 💩!
The small percentage of empty stations is dropping. The fuel prices are dropping. There's more fuel on shore than usual.

@aaronsmith @MSMWatchdog2013 @Matt_Camenzuli So I’m going to sell my reliable ICE car for $10k, then drop another $40k, to save on fuel? Not everyone’s a cataclysmic dickwad like you.
English

@Matt_Camenzuli Of course it’s going to happen.
There’s only so long that people will pay $150-$200 to fill up a car when they can charge one for $3 at home.
Not everyone lives in your permanent state of denial Matt.
English

🤣...
Chris Meder@EVCurveFuturist
March sales figures are starting to come in — the data is irrefutable. Aussies abandoning combustion engine cars like the plague. ICE resale values plummeting hard, & it will only worsen. The shift is happening now, not later. This demand shock is an accelerant. #Bettrification
ART

@JC47053522 @Tank9999 @KimCarrera007 I’m condescending because you are a fucking idiot. EV’s are going to get parked and charged in underground carparks. Eventually one is going to fail. People will get hurt or die. It’s GOING TO HAPPEN due to the cataclysmic stupidity of dickwads like you. I’m out.
English

@TheRealWilso @Tank9999 @KimCarrera007 If you have a phobia about EV batteries ( & it sounds like you do 🤣 ) underground parking is a issue .
For the rest of us , this is what new apartment car parking look like.
( This is Sierra Apartments in Melbourne )

English

@JC47053522 @Tank9999 @KimCarrera007 That suits YOUR SPECIFIC CIRCUMSTANCES. Why is this happening all the time? “It suits me so everyone can do it”. Why is the world full of ignorant dumb fucks who can’t see past the end of their own fucking noses?
English

@TheRealWilso @Tank9999 @KimCarrera007 🤣
This is charging infrastructure
Draws less than the kettle .
Charging 6hrs a night adds 350km of range per week while I sleep . Or plug in for 10 hours for a few extra dollars for 600.
How often are you doing more than 600 a week ?
I think Cadogan grossly overestimated demand

English

@AdamShurey @PaulRob11880584 @devalara44 It absolutely does, if you were smart enough to see past the end of your fucking nose. Expel the Israeli ambassador (a war criminal). Re-instate the Iranian ambassador, and get Australia out of Trump’s illegal war. Problem solved.
English

@Tank9999 @KimCarrera007 @JC47053522 Only if you have the off street parking to do it. And don’t @ me with an underground carpark in apartment building. Charging an EV in an underground carpark, at any rate, is objectively the stupidest fucking idea in the history of bad fucking ideas.
English

@KimCarrera007 @JC47053522 @TheRealWilso #auspol If you look up the numbers - most cars in Australia are driven less than 40km per day
If people have an electric car with over 400km range
that means only recharching once a week
and that can be done overnight/offpeak even on a 15 amp charger
English

@JC47053522 @Tank9999 @KimCarrera007 The EVangelists are claiming an end to ICE and everyone driving EV’s. That’s not possible without the infrastructure he’s talking about. Not in a country as large and sparsely populated as Australia.
English

@TheRealWilso @Tank9999 @KimCarrera007 Page 2
I disagree with a few of his opinions
- number of 1 MW chargers & locations
- servos with 1 MW chargers instead of petrol pumps
- assumed demand from chargers
- C02 emissions
I agree with him
- if the power is not available , Ausgrid won't connect
/3
English

@JC47053522 @Tank9999 @KimCarrera007 It’s the only issue. EV’s will NEVER replace ICE, with 40-60m public fast charge times. Not enough people will buy them. Off street parking, home charging people who can engineer their life around the range are fine. For the rest of, they’re just too inconvenient.
English

@TheRealWilso @Tank9999 @KimCarrera007 Page 3
I will get back to youat some stage with a few scenarios & why I don't think the charging will be an issue .
( you don't have agree , it will just be my opinion )
English

Bollocks. And the huge Tesla battery in SA is a case in point. Stunning success, despite all the know-nothings who endlessly narked up against it.
Brad Stone 🇦🇺@Brad_OneNation
@Peter_Fitz Small ones for homes is fine. Large ones for entire grids don't work and the cost is prohibitive.
