To all 1.0 creators who make mini brs or just create in general, we have a disappointing announcement to make.
In the recent C7S3 update, Epic devs have implemented a new ai system when publishing new or already published maps. This ai system can and WILL detect any unreleased content in your maps whether that includes (vfx, sounds, props, character device, meshes, etc.) Now I know a lot of creators and teams utilize things like that to elevate their experiences. It’s really the best and only way they had to be close to the level of true UEFN maps.
Now, that has been taken away, our literal only chance of getting into discovery is now GONE! The last time we got ANY new sounds or vfx was back in chapter 3. Almost 4 YEARS AGO! Epic has now shown and basically confirmed that they have pulled the plug on 1.0 and wanting to update it from this point on. The only way you’ll find success now is by switching over to UEFN unfortunately. It’s really disappointing and scary that this “engine” is in this state after 7 years, all while UEFN still itself has issues.
So, please I’m calling on anyone, @FNCreate @FNCreativeHQ @klarque_clint @EpicTofuChris @Flak please help us make 1.0 better. Give us resources so we can compete with those next level maps. You’re destroying creators who create on consoles, on phones, on computers that they bought using money from their part time job. Some of us are in school, this is a job for some of us. Please, can we start giving 1.0 some love, or atleast have the guts to say your done updating it.❤️
