Here’s one for you 👀 Would you rather? (A) An All Island League OR (B) An All Ireland Football Team Don’t just give me an answer I want reasons, rationale and logic not any nonsense! Best answer wins a prize (don’t expect anything much)

@CorkCityFan1234 Please say your taking the piss mate? He's bargary 2.0, he's a one trick pony, doesn't look up when he crosses the ball, he'll deliver one good cross every 15 + attempts, you'll understand me when you notice it yourself

@reptracker Let's be fair and honest lads, penalty was absolutely scandalous, second goal was awful defending altogether, kelleher gave us a lifeline in the shootout and we bottled it again... History repeats itself! From the minute they scored the first goal onwards they deserved the win

All I can feel is numbness after last night. The plan was perfect and executed so well then on the 25th minute everything changed - the stupidest, most needless foul that changed the whole momentum of the game. It wasn’t the only reason that Ireland lost the tie but it was the crucial moment.

@Payback07 @reptracker And what about the irish rugby team? Lots of lads have no Irish connection but allowed play because they play here and don't even get me started on Ireland's call... Atleast vale and the rest have Irish connections

@reptracker He can stay in England. Can’t make his own national team so robbing an actual Irishman of his jersey. It’s not right.

𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐲 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐬𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐈𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝!🇮🇪 Former England underage international Harvey Vale has opted to represent Ireland at senior level. The QPR midfielder was hugely highly rated during his time in the Chelsea academy and was once considered one of their standout prospects. Vale captained England’s U19 side to European Championship glory in 2022, highlighting just how highly regarded he was within the English setup. Now developing his career at QPR, Vale is a versatile midfielder capable of operating as a 6, 8, or 10, and can even fill in at left-back when required. This could prove to be a real coup for Ireland, adding a technically gifted and tactically flexible option to the midfield pool. It will now be very interesting to see whether Vale is included in the upcoming squad.

Tallaght a flare free zone this evening. Striking again that there’s such a dramatic difference between Friday and Monday crowds here - and that’s with a substantial travelling support.

@jameslawlor00 I personally think he's better then melia, people can moan at me all they want but eldings all round game and finishing is better and he's only 1/5th of the price, bargain for Hibs shocking for Sligo

Another year losing our prized asset for an abysmal figure. When will we learn? One week out from the season starting also. Shocking timing yet again. Surely #bitored people feeling the same about this? Considering other LOI assets have left for way more €€ - why only 400k?

Owen Elding is set to leave Sligo Rovers and sign for Hibernian, as first reported by @jessicafarry ☘️ It’s also my understanding that the fee is as low as €400,000 with significant adds on for the reigning League of Ireland Young Player of the Year - a baffling figure, in all honesty, for a player of such quality and potential. Elding will be a huge loss to Sligo Rovers and to the league on the eve of the new League of Ireland campaign, which kicks off next Friday. A deal has now been agreed for the 19-year-old, and it’s looking increasingly likely that he could make his Hibernian debut this Sunday against Rangers.

@betweenstripes Just meh tbh, I think we definitely have the fire power to go straight up , it's not a division to look forward to with no disrespect to the other teams. Barely any away fans come to the cross, poor grounds all around the division and boring games most weeks!

Cork City fans, what is the general feeling down there ahead of the new season? Squad is much weaker looking than last season, as you'd expect after relegation. Mpongo an exciting signing and if Maguire and Keating stay that is some attack, but is the rest of the squad strong enough to win the division, in your opinion?
