This ex-teacher who recently left her profession is sounding the alarm: "As somebody that taught high school and basically educating our new young adults, we should all be scared. Every last one of us should be scared."

@nicksortor @RepBryanSteil Here's the thing, Federal employees DO get back-paid once shutdowns end. It's tantamount to additional paid vacation at our expense. A more effective tactic would be, nobody gets paid for any hours the gov't is shut down, period.

🚨 BREAKING: The "No Pay During Shutdowns Act," which would BAR members of Congress from receiving paychecks, has just PASSED out of the US House committee, per @RepBryanSteil This should've been done a LONG time ago. If our troops don't get paid, NEITHER SHOULD CONGRESS! Send the bill to the President's desk!

@Rothmus I don't think he's asking exactly what he means to. It's likely he doesn't care about her income, but IS thinking "Why am I paying a maid and doing housework AT ALL when I'm providing 600K per year?"

There's a reason your doctor never mentioned Berberine. It can't be patented, so there's no profit in it. For 3,500 years, this natural compound has been torching fat and optimizing hormones. They buried it. I'm bringing it back. Here's the truth: 1… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…

@JDHaltigan so, as social scientists, may I assume they also disregard IQ tests for the same reason? Insane...

This is what the Leftist politicization of psychopathology research looks like in print. Everything is due to social factors, no mention of biological or genetic factors. In fact, to suggest them as part of a biopsychosocial model is considered "racist."

@StefanMolyneux You'd be surprised how many rely on the exception in their personal lives. Ask any single woman what she wants in a husband. She'll describe the exception. Ask her how she will attract such an exceptional man. She'll claim she's the exception.

It’s always amazing to me how confident people are that they’re adding value by pointing out exceptions to generalities They must be surrounded by complete idiots to have never been rebuked on that before

@ItIsHoeMath Houses are built to code. Not sure how many people will get the implications of that statement. I'll try again: Houses today are constructed according to the dictates of safetyism. When you prioritize the avoidance of a negative, it gets more likely, not less.

I'm sad about what's happening to my country (and every white country) but I'm even more sad at how many of us deserve it. America is a land of sin, and every day I see people not understanding what they bring on themselves. Jordan Peterson once said something... I can't remember it word for word but I'll paraphrase: "you can't break the truth. You can bend it, but the harder you bend it, the harder it snaps back at you." Think about how far we have bent the truth about race, sex, economics, morals. Even new houses are not built to last, but they cost as much as the ones that were. That kind of dishonesty adds up over time, and it bunches together like water in the sky becomes a cloud, and it gets so big that the storm eventually ruins you and everyone you depend on.

@aaya_01 The biggest downside? Being responsible for saving $2.5 million for retirement by yourself. If you're alone at 65, you'll essentially be invisible. And if you aren't prepared, nobody will be there to save you.

@ThHappyHawaiian I know it's frustrating. But the available above-ground silver is still disappearing like sands through the hour glass. TPTB can hold the price as long as they like, but they can't divine more physical.

Pastor Rich Lusk

Nikola Tesla, diagnosing the problems with rising feminism and misandry, in 1924: "I had always thought of woman as possessing those delicate qualities of mind and soul that made her in her respects far superior to man. I had put her on a lofty pedestal, figuratively speaking, and ranked her in certain important attributes considerably higher than man. I worshipped at the feet of the creature I had raised to this height, and, like every true worshiper, I felt myself unworthy of the object of my worship. But all this was in the past. Now the soft voiced gentle woman of my reverent worship has all but vanished. In her place has come the woman who thinks that her chief success in life lies on making herself as much as possible like man - in dress, voice, and actions, in sports and achievements of every kind. The world has experience many tragedies, but to my mind the greatest tragedy of all is the present economic condition wherein women strive against men, and in many cases actually succeed in usurping their places in the professions and in industry. This growing tendency of women to overshadow the masculine is a sign of a deteriorating civilization. Practically all the great achievements of man until now have been inspired by his love and devotion to woman. Man has aspired to great things because some woman believed in him, because he wished to command her admiration and respect. For these reasons he has fought for her and risked his life and his all for her time and time again. Perhaps the male in society is useless. I am frank to admit that I don't know. If women are beginning to feel this way about it - and there is striking evidence at hand that they do - then we are entering upon the cruelest period of the world's history. Our civilization will sink to a state like that which is found among the bees, ants, and other insects - a state wherein the male is ruthlessly killed off. In this matriarchal empire which will be established, the female rules. As the female predominates, the males are at her mercy. The male is considered important only as a factor in the general scheme of the continuity of life. The tendency of women to push aside man, supplanting the old spirit of cooperation with him in all the affairs of life, is very disappointing to me."
