Sparda literally left the Rebellion and Yamato his children, and we learned that when Vergil was on the verge of death in Visions of V, it appeared in his hands to help him fight back. Sparda had a plan, contrary to what you're claiming. In the 2007 anime, we also learn that Dante can summon Rebellion to his hands, it's literally in the first scene of the entire anime. Also - HOW did Mundus steal it? We never see how Mundus got his hands on the Yamato in the show, especially since we know for a fact that Rebellion was kept by Dante and the Sparda was in the Vatican for some reason. The problem is in the inconsistency - If Mundus had his goons steal the Yamato, why did they leave the Rebellion? It makes no sense.

@ripalek Has Blut Vene done something to stop hax abilities that affect the mind. As for Anthithesis, Uryu hasnt shown that he could use it constalty right? So after a few Genjutsu attempts he might just loose.

@TheRedRiver21 Would Genjutsu even be able to penetrate or bypass Blut Vene? Regarding Antithesis, you could argue (given the Senjumaru fight) the ability can be used Retroactively. Negating Genjutsu
