@animeheadsretro Just can't get on with the controls. When I was fighting the Moulds or whatever they were, I was constantly ducking by accident because of trying to aim I was accidentally holding down the right trigger due to being quite heavy handed. Drove me up the wall.

Trying out Resident Evil 7 this evening. Not wholly convinced to be honest. The running is awful so when trying to get away they are basically ALWAYS there or sometimes even catch you and the slime monsters in the basement move far too much for the aiming.

@animeheadsretro Jacks boss fight hasn't sold me on it. I see him charging, I run away to create distance and he's just RIGHT THERE as if I haven't moved. You can't back away very fast either. It just feels like every bugger teleports when you're trying to evade. I beat him eventually but sheesh

Sorry to hear you're not enjoying it bud. I think it's an incredible game. Didn't really have any problem with the mould monsters after I was initially ambushed by them the first time. I had much more of a problem with Jack. I found some of it more difficult than other RE's but I absolutely loved every minute of its atmosphere and fantastic story. Some of the boss fights are sooo good.

@PlaySushiUK Right I've made it out to the bayou house. Still not wholly convinced yet. We shall see what the next act brings.

@TheRetroMartin Mate, keep going. This is really one of the best Resident Evil’s ever made and controls like a dream for me. Resi 6 can get in the bin.

@PlaySushiUK I'm going to, but I'm not convinced. This fight is one of the crappiest things I've ever had to control. If it actually let me move around a bit that would be nice but Ethan just shuffles around slower than a zombie. It's rubbish.

@PlaySushiUK Yep and they move absolutely all over the place making it an arse to hit them, even if you go CQC with the knife. I'm just doing the fight in the dissection room and I'm really not feeling it. It controls horribly and I would play RE1-6 over this any day of the week.

@TheRetroMartin The Molded are some of the slowest enemies in the series lol. The game is a classic.

@MidlifeCrysis_ I've played it on MD as well. Just don't find that sort of game interesting in bursts above 10 or 15 minutes

@DJK1NG_Gaming They made a physical for Switch 1 no problem. Should've just added in a console detecting security feature and marketed that for both consoles. Simple.

My 2nd Mega CD game for my collection. A bargain at £4.00…hopefully 😬 FMV games are very hit and miss.

@TheRetroMartin you cannot digitally download it without said PHYSICAL cartridge in the console. And guess what? That cart will need to be in the console all subsequent times you plan on playing it as well. Guess what? That can be loaned to others so they can play it as well

Are you physically holding it in your hand when you purchase it before physically inserting it into your console? Yeah? Cool. Then by technical definitions it is a "physical" option

@HatingIsASport Nope. Because you have to DIGITALLY DOWNLOAD THE GAME. you're intentionally ignoring that fact because it fits the narrative you want to push.
