Do you really think that in a world where ~half of men have sexual double standards, just asking for fairness is going to lead to egalitarian societal standards? The fact is that societal sexual double standards are causing mating marketplace imbalances and growing numbers of hostile, sexless men. This is a real threat to women’s rights, which hoards of them already want to take from us. Societal sexual double standards cause tournament species dynamics, which lead to civil unrest and women’s oppression. They also lead to censorship of information about female anatomy, to female genital mutilation, to sexual violence. “But but we should be fair” is not a solution. Given that men are not fair (see comments), women’s calls for fairness are suicide. Balancing markets is a solution. Rescinding women’s rights and reducing women to property was the prior strategy so surely my suggestion is preferable to that.
